I moved to Rhyl in September 2024 and joined Lakeside Medical Centre, as a patient, soon after moving. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care and service they provide. Dr Mohideen and his team are compassionate, kind and genuinely care about getting you well, both physically and mentally. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care and service this Practice provides. From the moment you walk through the door or telephone, you are met with warmth, professionalism and a genuine commitment to patient well-being. The reception team is always friendly, efficient and accommodating, making appointment booking and inquiries effortless. The doctors, nurses and other clinicians go above and beyond to listen, explain and provide the highest standards of care. Their empathy and expertise instills confidence, making anyone who is feeling unwell and needs their help, have a positive experience. What truly sets this practice apart is the seamless co-ordination and the time they take to listen to patients. They make the process of getting prescriptions, obtaining blood tests etc. all so easy – not the experience I’ve had with other GP practices! It is clear, that all the staff at Lakeside Medical Centre are dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare and, in so doing, they set an example that other practices should aspire to follow. All we tend to hear is how awful the Health Service is these times of NHS ‘doom & gloom’ but the Lakeside Medical Centre is a shining example of how healthcare should be delivered. Listen up! NHS Wales and Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), the Lakeside Medical Centre should be training all other GP practices on how to deliver primary care, how to give patients a supportive and positive experience. Every patient deserves this wonderful level of healthcare provision. As a final point, I feel incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding GP practice looking after me and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional medical care.
