The staff at this medical center are typically warm and welcoming, but today was a challenging experience. I spent around 20 minutes trying to connect with them, followed by another 20 minutes on hold, only to be told the doctor would call later. They attempted to reach me once, but the call dropped, and they left a voicemail claiming I missed their call (which never actually came through). Despite this, the staff remained friendly. The doctor was helpful and prescribed antibiotics. However, when I went to the pharmacy to collect them, the medication wasn't ready - a common occurrence. The lead pharmacist was occupied on the phone, causing me to wait about 15 minutes for her to finalize the prescription. While on a call, I approached the counter, and the pharmacist rudely remarked, "You know I have other customers besides you," which I found unnecessarily dramatic. She then requested my address. Since I have two residences, I provided both, but she curtly responded, "Just tell me the address." I repeated both addresses, unsure which was on my form, and she eventually handed over the prescription. I didn't recognize this pharmacist and was thoroughly unimpressed by her condescending attitude. Overall, I'm disappointed. While the staff are usually excellent, today's system and communication were completely disorganized.

My elderly father, aged 93, required assistance. The medical practice's phone message was not helpful, so I went to their office and, after some persuasion, met Ryan, the practice manager. Ryan was exceptionally compassionate and, within an hour, Rachael, the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, had visited my father's home to evaluate his condition. In just ten minutes, she contacted the Frailty assessment team at Warwick hospital, and within an hour, my father was at the unit undergoing a comprehensive assessment. The entire process was swift, efficient, and seamless. The reason I'm not giving a perfect rating is that this was our first encounter with the frailty assessment centre, and I believe a 93-year-old living alone should have been identified for assessment earlier to establish an appropriate care plan. Nevertheless, I want to express my gratitude to Ryan and Rachael for their prompt, empathetic, and appropriate intervention.

Inconsistent service with rude pharmacy staff
The medical staff in the general practitioner section were helpful when I went for tests, but I initially struggled to locate the correct address. However, the pharmacy experience was entirely different and unpleasant. The staff were extremely aggressive, loudly instructing me to wear a mask and maintain distance. Despite clearly displaying my lanyard and mask exemption badge, and with the person ahead of me already having moved back to facilitate conversation, they continued to shout at me about staying a specific distance from the counter. My sole purpose was to inquire about directions to the medical research centre. To make matters worse, they provided incorrect guidance, directing me to walk around the back of the building when I could have simply turned right and knocked on the nearest surgery door.
