Doctor's change was the best decision ever

Absolutely delighted with our new medical practice. Booking appointments is now hassle-free, and what's truly fantastic is how the general practitioner genuinely listens and makes you feel valued, regardless of how long it's been since your last visit. (I'll refrain from identifying specific individuals.) The front desk staff are equally welcoming. I recognize they can occasionally seem stressed and might come across as slightly brusque, but I always maintain a positive attitude, and they reciprocate my courtesy. In all honesty, dealing with the public isn't an easy task for them.

Compassionate care through challenging health journey

Since experiencing a minor heart attack in 2002 requiring angioplasty, and subsequently suffering a stroke in 2008 that left me partially sighted and unable to drive, I've needed to schedule numerous medical appointments annually. Throughout the Covid19 pandemic, I've undergone two blood tests conducted by an exceptional nurse and participated in a video consultation with my physician. Every doctor I've encountered has consistently welcomed me with warmth and professionalism. Their dedicated care and attention have been instrumental in helping me reach the milestone of receiving a royal acknowledgment after 18 years.

Frustrating healthcare with inconsistent service and communication

The medical staff are pleasant, provided you can secure an appointment. The front desk personnel vary in quality. One staff member was particularly discourteous and showed a complete lack of empathy. Multiple times, repeated medication requests have been incomplete. There's no communication when issues arise. This occurred again today. I've just transferred to a new practice and am anxiously hoping I can manage without my necessary medication until I'm officially registered with them.

The medical professionals themselves demonstrate genuine empathy and care, but the front desk staff create significant obstacles in scheduling appointments. The clinic's administrative process is fundamentally flawed, with follow-up appointments being particularly challenging. Their system requires patients to call on the same day and then wait endlessly for a potential callback, often receiving a response just moments before the office closes. To secure any medical attention, patients must essentially assert an emergency or risk being overlooked entirely. As a result, myself and numerous other patients have opted to transfer our medical care elsewhere, with the Kenilworth practice offering a markedly superior patient experience.
