Absolutely dreadful medical facility. The wait for a blood test stretched to an entire month!!! Their appointment scheduling is ridiculous, seemingly designed for people with unlimited free time on Universal Credit. They assigned me a 9.45 slot, forcing me to request time off work and negotiate with my manager just to get this long-pending test done. Due to traffic complications, I arrived at Abbey Medical Centre by 9.55. Despite only two people ahead in the queue, I still had to endure another 10-minute wait because of the sluggish receptionists. The final blow? They insisted on rescheduling my blood test because I was 20 minutes past the original time. Wait another month? Absolutely not. I'm definitely switching to a different GP practice.

Obtaining timely communication or scheduling an appointment at this medical practice proves incredibly challenging. Upon my visit, I sought a straightforward referral document. Despite dispatching multiple emails and making numerous phone calls, I encountered complete silence from the staff. Ultimately, I was compelled to contact the NHS directly regarding the physician, as my previous attempts yielded no results. The process of securing a basic referral letter stretched beyond a month, when it should have been resolved within days. Their subsequent response was an email instructing me not to contact any Doctor directly. I'm left pondering what options remain for a patient when faced with prolonged unresponsiveness and bureaucratic roadblocks.

They genuinely address medical concerns with thoroughness and urgency, consistently providing prompt responses to electronic consultations and arranging hospital referrals when necessary. In contrast to previous healthcare providers, this GP doesn't dismiss symptoms but actively pursues diagnostic testing to ensure comprehensive care.

Worst gp experience ever with terrible service

This is the absolute worst general practitioner I've encountered. They consistently fail to offer appointments and refuse to prescribe the medications patients desire. To book a consultation, you're forced to wake up at 7 am and start calling at 8, and after waiting on hold for over an hour, they still won't assist you. I've been battling an infection, and the doctor named Victoria Chellia flatly rejected prescribing my medication, stating they would only provide treatment if my test results turn positive. I received a message that was incredibly disrespectful, essentially telling me to purchase medication from the pharmacy myself. The NHS urgently needs to intervene and address this GP's unacceptable behavior. I'm dealing with a serious medical condition, and they're completely neglecting my healthcare needs.

The male staff member at the front desk displayed an incredibly discourteous and confrontational demeanor! I was completely taken aback. He barely made eye contact, failed to greet me, and was extremely dismissive. His treatment of the subsequent patient was equally poor. This interaction significantly marred my initial experience. Fortunately, the healthcare professional who treated me was wonderfully compassionate, and these two stars are entirely in her honor!

I initiated contact with the medical practice through an e-consult at 08:19hrs and received an instant confirmation email stating they would aim to respond by the end of the next business day. Surprisingly, just ten minutes later at 08:29hrs, Theo from reception called to inform me that a physician could see me that very day at 09:40hrs. From my initial outreach to being seen, less than ninety minutes had elapsed. The medical staff are exceptionally approachable and never make patients feel hurried during consultations. I was seen by a wonderful doctor (who, like all their colleagues, was fantastic) who provided precisely the guidance I required and directed me to the pharmacy, effectively resolving my medical concern. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire team at Abbey Medical Centre for their outstanding care, which truly sets a superior standard compared to other medical practices.

I've been a patient at this practice since 1981, back when Dr Lister was still practicing. Dr Saddiqi and Dr Fashola are truly exceptional, consistently going above and beyond for my family. I cannot express enough gratitude for these doctors and would also highly recommend Dr Sarabi. These physicians are an absolute asset to this medical practice. Booking appointments online or through the website has always been seamless, and I feel the overall services have significantly improved over the years. While I do miss the self check-in kiosk and the original receptionist, the new staff are courteous and helpful. I appreciate the flexibility of telephone consultations and the ability to receive assistance remotely. Moreover, in urgent situations or when immediate medical attention is required, appointments are readily available. The surgery maintains an immaculate and well-organized environment. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone seeking quality healthcare.

This is absolutely the worst general practice clinic I've encountered. It's impossible to get anyone to answer the phone, regardless of the time or urgency of your situation.
