The reception team displays appalling attitudes, clearly showing favoritism towards individuals who share their linguistic and cultural background. Their discriminatory approach is blatant and unacceptable. Upon raising my concerns with the manager, I was dismissively told to seek care elsewhere, which further highlighted their unprofessional stance. The doctors consistently demonstrate a complete disregard for appointment scheduling, rendering the concept of booking a specific time utterly meaningless. Throughout my experience with this practice, I've endured wait times that are nothing short of ridiculous - with a minimum delay of 45 minutes being the norm. One can only imagine the extent of delays at their worst moments.

I have been a patient at Abbey medical centre since February 2022. Recently, while dealing with some health challenges, I've consistently received same-day appointments. Although the surgery itself couldn't provide extensive treatment for my specific case and referred me to a specialist, the staff during my specialist treatment have been incredibly supportive. Whenever I needed assistance with past medical records or administrative matters, they were always ready to help. I would like to particularly acknowledge some key individuals who have been exceptional: Dr. Ahmed (who has since left the surgery), Dr. Gupta, and staff members Saima and Shadia. These professionals have been consistently helpful and responsive whenever I required support.

Worst medical centre experience ever frustrating service

I've been stuck on hold for a solid 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer, and when they finally did, they immediately hung up on me. Calling back, I endured another half-hour wait just to reach the reception, only to be met with complete unhelpfulness. They couldn't even provide me with basic information! I noticed that previous reviews months ago recommended better staff training, but it seems absolutely nothing has changed. Are you still just thinking about addressing this? How much longer will this go on? The staff can't even handle the most fundamental tasks, like using a phonetic alphabet correctly. I completed a blood test three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back. The customer service here is absolutely abysmal - truly, catastrophically bad!

Poor communication skills plague this clinic. The receptionist's inability to comprehend or communicate in English makes it challenging to convey the urgency and details of health concerns, which escalated the problematic situation. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for weeks. During an early morning call to book slots for myself and my unwell son, the receptionist only confirmed my son's appointment, refusing to schedule two family members simultaneously without fully grasping the complexity of my health issues. Preeti abruptly terminated the call, preventing me from explaining my situation. I emphasized, "I did not call you stupid," yet she failed to understand due to her inadequate communication abilities. The surgery's service is utterly unacceptable because of the receptionists' attitudes. When I called back courteously to clarify my previous comments and provide constructive feedback about improving communication skills, her response was, "I don't need your advice." I clarified that my interaction was purely professional, and I was merely offering feedback, not unsolicited advice. I strongly advise against registering here, as they demonstrate complete indifference to patients' health and well-being. This review is the result of careful consideration of the practice's substandard management. Recommendation: The practice manager must implement comprehensive risk assessment training for receptionists and mandate at least a level 2 English language course to ensure clear communication. The risk assessment training will be most effective if language proficiency is first addressed. Additionally, they should review their policy prohibiting simultaneous family appointment bookings, as this necessitates multiple clinic visits, which is inconvenient and impractical.

I've been a patient at this medical office for three decades. Previously, their front desk staff was competent and responsive, promptly handling phone calls. Currently, no matter when you dial, you're guaranteed a wait of 45 to 60 minutes before reaching anyone. How is it possible that when you're second in the queue, it still takes three-quarters of an hour to get a response? I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed. Terrible medical practice with frustrating appointment system

The name is shamahila farooq After reading other reviews and responses, I've noticed your claims. Not everyone has an account under their personal name. It could be registered under a family name! This is absolutely the worst surgical practice around!! To get an appointment, we must call early in the morning at 8 And even if we dial precisely at 8, we somehow end up at positions like number 14 and 21. I'm completely baffled by how we can be so far back in the queue in just a single second. Furthermore, if we actually manage to reach someone, we can only schedule an appointment for one family and solely for a single medical issue. If the same patient requires attention for additional problems, we must go through the entire calling process again the next day.
