Terrible healthcare service that failed me completely

Their service has seriously deteriorated. Previously, I had a consistent healthcare provider for managing my mental health and PTSD, seeing them as required. After nearly a year of persistent requests, they finally assigned me a new doctor. The staff's attitude is shockingly indifferent. I've experienced male doctors who dismiss me, treating my concerns as trivial simply because I'm a woman experiencing stress. The reception staff are constantly changing, leading to inconsistent procedures and communication. If you call even slightly after opening, all appointments are mysteriously gone, and they're completely unresponsive - even when someone is in genuine distress, experiencing severe pain, or having suicidal thoughts. They demonstrate zero compassion or concern. My strong advice: avoid this healthcare provider at all costs.

Terrible healthcare with zero patient support

Completely worthless, seek care elsewhere. It's impossible to secure a doctor's consultation throughout the entire year due to the complete absence of pre-bookable in-person appointments. Physiotherapy is unavailable until March, despite my previously scheduled appointment being abruptly canceled by the practice on January 13th, 2025. What options exist for working individuals experiencing chronic pain? Apparently, the solution is to simply endure suffering, as any time taken off work results in appointment cancellations. Exceptionally substandard service, and I sincerely hope this isn't representative of the NHS's overall standard. It's unfortunate that even my rare interactions with this GP practice have been so disappointing.

Unprofessional doctor dismisses patient's serious medical concern

I reached out to Abbey Medical Practice today regarding severe abdominal pain that was seriously concerning me, and the on-call physician, Dr Perkins, was incredibly dismissive. He responded by asking 'what do you want me to do, there's nothing I can do' in a completely unhelpful manner. I was genuinely distressed, barely able to move this morning, yet he became argumentative and loudly proclaimed 'I don't need to see you'. Only after my mother intervened and suggested reporting him did he suddenly change his tone and offer to see me? This was an absolutely terrible encounter that left me feeling vulnerable and upset. Why must patients have to fight and argue just to receive basic medical attention? Medical professionals should be focused on helping people, not making them feel belittled and unimportant.

Unresponsive medical practice leaves patient frustrated and waiting

I've dispatched multiple emails to the practice manager without receiving any response. Apparently, the manager was away on holiday again, reportedly until the 24th of June. I sent an email regarding crucial treatment to the deputy, who simply forwarded it to the absent manager - what good does that do? The previous manager would consistently reply within a day, but the current one seems to dodge communications like the plague. Will I ever get a reply? This concerns critical medical treatment, and I've already wasted five months with no progress. It seems everyone is just taking time off.

If you're seeking an experience more unwelcoming than a stay at a notorious dysfunctional hotel, look no further. They appear to go to great lengths to erect as many obstacles as possible to avoid interacting with their CUSTOMERS. The reception staff must realize that treating CUSTOMERS with basic courtesy and respect will be reciprocated. Every aspect of this establishment screams: we'd rather be anywhere else. From the front desk personnel to the medical professionals, the disinterest is palpable. This practice was once a beacon of excellence. What tragic transformation has turned it into such a dismal operation?
