Awful receptionists attitude towards patience

The receptionists are really rude, dismissive of patients. The practice manager is no better. He's rude to patients, refuses to see patients or keeps you waiting for hours before he comes down to attend to an issue that you have that the poor standard receptionists have already dismissed. This is really very concerning as he shows no leadership therefore it is not surprising that the reception staff in the practice behave exactly the same. It is a real shame because the doctors in the practice are really nice and helpful . I note that one lady has reported this practice in the icb who commissioned this practice . this sort of care is not sustainable the whole admin team should be overhauled I am not sure any amount of training can improve this situation. There are numerous reviews similar to mine I'm surprised no action has been taken to improve the care given to customers to date

She mistakenly contacted me, believing I was another patient, and upon realizing her error, the conversation became abrupt, impersonal, and dismissive. Even more alarming — she then recorded the call in my medical records as a "dysfunctional consultation," which is both unjust and fundamentally incorrect. How can a general practitioner misidentify a patient, provide no meaningful consultation, and subsequently document the encounter as though I were the source of the problem? This appears not just careless, but potentially harmful. I now have an inaccurate and unwarranted note permanently attached to my medical history — entirely through no fault of my own. This wasn't merely an administrative mistake. It represented a complete failure of accountability, professionalism, and basic human respect. I felt condemned, not listened to. Marginalized, not supported. I rightfully expect — and absolutely deserve — far superior treatment from a healthcare professional. The practice already struggles with extensive wait times, ineffective communication, and a chronically disorganized approach. However, this specific encounter left me feeling utterly disrespected and mischaracterized. Substantial changes are imperative — because this transcends mere inconvenience; it's fundamentally about maintaining trust and preserving patient dignity.

I am utterly frustrated and let down by the complete lack of professionalism. I'm writing this review because I've been without my essential antidepressant medication for five consecutive days, with zero communication about a required GP medication review, despite submitting my prescription request well in advance. A receptionist assured me the medication would be processed within 48 hours. However, abruptly stopping antidepressants can be medically dangerous, and I've experienced significant negative consequences. I've submitted a formal complaint, but there's been no acknowledgment or response, despite their claim of providing prompt and effective complaint resolution. Where is the promised communication and support they claim to offer?!

Avoid this doctor at all medical costs

Just as others have mentioned, securing a consultation is a nightmare. It's frustrating. Most of the medical staff are pleasant, with the exception of one female physician. I believe her name is Dr. Ali or Ally - she's incredibly discourteous. After several years, I was compelled to schedule a visit with her for my child, and her communication was shockingly inappropriate and aggressive. She seemed prepared to attack me over the appointment slot her own receptionist had arranged. She's absolutely dreadful; I strongly advise against seeing her.

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible service

The quality of service here continues to deteriorate daily! I've been desperately trying to schedule a doctor's appointment while battling an illness for an entire month! Staff repeatedly claim doctors won't handle my case and redirect me to the pharmacy, where unqualified personnel can't even prescribe antibiotics or address my complex medical needs involving allergies and asthma. After extensive pleading, I finally secured an appointment next week, during which time I was forced to visit the hospital. Today, they shockingly called to cancel my appointment, and then the pharmacist contacted me again! Have they completely lost their minds? I'm still unwell after a hospital visit and urgently need to consult an actual DOCTOR, not a pharmacist! I'm utterly speechless about the recent incompetence and lack of care. This situation is absolutely unbelievable!
