Continuity with the same doctor made all the difference

I have been under the care of my GP for a long time and although I hadn't seen them recently, I was pleased to discover they would be seeing me at my last appointment. Based on my past experiences, I find them to be the most suitable doctor at the practice for my needs. This is not to say that other clinicians are not competent, but they have successfully managed my most significant health concerns over the years. I believe it would be beneficial if patients could see the same doctor regularly, as this allows for better continuity of care and familiarity. At my previous surgeries, I was able to maintain consistent relationships with the same practitioners. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case at my current practice.
