Tough recovery after routine vaccination experience

I've consistently been satisfied with the medical practice's service throughout the years. However, after receiving my flu and covid vaccinations last Friday, I feel compelled to share my experience. Initially, I endured two restless nights due to severe pain in my left arm where the flu shot was administered, which finally subsided by Sunday. Subsequently, on Monday night, I suffered the most intense sore throat I've ever encountered, which kept me awake for most of the night. Then, on Wednesday, I experienced another sleepless night because of a relentless, persistent cough that continues to plague me, now accompanied by nasal congestion and sneezing. While I want to emphasize that these symptoms are not the fault of the medical practice, I believe this information might be helpful feedback for the vaccination providers.

Terrible service and endless wait times here

I've encountered significant issues with this medical practice and have decided to seek care elsewhere. While the reception team and nursing staff are delightful, my interactions with my GP (Dr Harrison) have been consistently frustrating. The wait time for phone consultations stretches beyond a month, and securing an in-person appointment seems virtually unattainable.

Better health care at adelaide medical centre

During my recent visit to Adelaide health centre, I found it significantly superior to Shepherds spring in Andover. The facility was remarkably more efficient, pleasant, and well-organized for patients, from the convenient car parking and spacious waiting area to the exceptional performance of the single receptionist. However, I did encounter a notable drawback with the doctor I saw, who demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and patient care. When my name was called, the doctor stood in the doorway and clearly observed my considerable difficulty in rising from my seat. After three strenuous attempts to stand, it was a compassionate fellow patient who ultimately came to my assistance - not, I might add, the doctor, who left a terrible impression on everyone present. Fantastic GP practice

I’ve had to have multiple interactions with my Gp practice over the last 2 years and they have always been fabulous. I am always able to get through on the phone and am usually offered an appointment immediately or within an appropriate time frame for my complaint. The staff are fabulous (receptionists, nurses, allied healthcare professionals and doctors). I really would recommend this practice. I feel they go above and beyond and often surpass my expectations.

The doctor promptly called me back, and we resolved the matter effectively. Their approach was empathetic and considerate, and I never felt hurried or dismissed during the entire process....

Scheduling an appointment was incredibly challenging and time-consuming - however, Dr. (Kate) Elliott was absolutely outstanding. Although she needed to refer me to another specialist (regarding Cancer), her empathy and professional approach were truly remarkable. Delivering potentially distressing medical news without being able to provide immediate comfort must be an incredibly difficult task.

1 star is actually too generous for this establishment. Dr. (Radeka?) - I hope I got her name right - seems more focused on scheduling multiple appointments than providing attentive patient care. Her approach feels impersonal and rushed.

I've been a patient at this clinic for a long time, and while there have been minor improvements, the front desk personnel remain consistently discourteous, and Dr. Bond is absolutely terrible!
