Felt genuinely cared for by the whole team

I relocated to this practice approximately three years ago, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. The service provided is outstanding, and there is a genuine sense that the team values patient wellbeing. All staff members, from clinical practitioners to administrative personnel, demonstrate friendliness, compassion, and a willingness to assist.

Doctors listen well, but appointment booking is awkward

Excellent family medical practice. The clinicians allocate sufficient time for consultations and demonstrate genuine attentiveness, addressing concerns effectively. The clinical support staff and allied health professionals deliver high-quality care. Daytime walk-in sessions provide reliable access to a doctor on weekdays, though these can involve extended waiting periods if you have other commitments, making scheduled appointments preferable in such circumstances. The appointment booking system requires phoning during a specific weekly window, and once available slots are filled, the next opportunity to book occurs the following week. Having been a patient at this practice for many years, the entire team has consistently provided excellent support to myself and my family.

Phone lines constantly busy and unresponsive

I'm unable to understand why, shortly before closing time, the phone lines go unanswered and calls are left to ring out. It took me nearly an hour to finally get through, and the calls kept being disconnected repeatedly.

Morning walk-in service made booking straightforward

The clinical staff are excellent and provide outstanding care. The morning walk-in service is particularly convenient and well-run. The nursing team are wonderful. One member of the reception team is exceptional and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure patients feel welcomed and valued, which is greatly appreciated. However, some other reception staff could be more welcoming and courteous, which is disappointing. The phlebotomy team are excellent. The telephone service could use improvement, as waiting times to get through are becoming increasingly difficult. Overall, this practice performs very well and I have no intention of registering elsewhere.

Phone queues make appointments nearly impossible

It takes a considerable amount of time to get through on the phone. You need to book appointments well in advance or spend several hours waiting in the morning to be seen. Most of the reception staff come across as rather unfriendly, both when visiting in person and during phone calls, though there were exceptions. I waited weekly for several weeks to have my hearing concerns addressed, but the issue remains unresolved. Due to my frustration with the lack of progress, I have decided to register with a different practice.

I consistently receive excellent service regardless of which clinician I see. The availability of morning walk-in appointments has proven beneficial and has helped me avoid many of the difficulties that acquaintances have encountered at their own practices.
