Impossible to see a doctor Communication is lacking with regards to test results or getting a report from them. They will not contact you. Doctors are very reluctant to help outside of prescribing medication and donate bare minimum. I was left with the feeling of ‘here is your diagnosis, good luck’ Frightening experience to get a diagnosis from them, very lacking in empathy.

Is this medical care truly this inadequate? My son has been battling a fever for four consecutive days, most likely due to tonsillitis. When I attempted to schedule an appointment, I was directed to book online instead of speaking with the reception staff. What purpose does the front desk even serve? For individuals with limited English proficiency, navigating an online booking system is incredibly challenging. I'm already experiencing significant anxiety about my child's health. I feel completely powerless and uncertain about when we might actually secure a doctor's consultation, even after attempting to schedule online. Neglected autistic grandson's infected thumb
This medical practice is utterly disgraceful, and I'd give them zero stars if possible. My son's entire family is unfortunately registered with this terrible surgery. My autistic grandson, who cannot communicate verbally, has been suffering from an infected thumb for weeks, yet the GP refuses to see him. They repeatedly direct the family to the Accident and Emergency department, which we previously visited with no resolution. There's an infuriating ping-pong effect between the GP and A&E, each deflecting responsibility. The National Health Service in this region of Wales is completely unacceptable. Having worked within the NHS for nearly two decades, I can confidently say I've never encountered such a poorly managed healthcare system. I am absolutely committed to escalating this complaint due to the shockingly inadequate medical care they are providing.

Rude staff pushed us to emergency room
The front desk personnel clearly lack proper customer service skills. Telling a patient to go to the emergency room when they simply need a prescription for a chronic condition is unacceptable. Two of the practice's physicians have explicitly instructed us to request antibiotics at the first sign of symptom recurrence before a scheduled procedure. We've spent two days attempting to obtain a prescription, only to be repeatedly informed that all appointments are fully booked and advised to call back the next day. Given the current situation, we will indeed follow the receptionist's suggestion and seek treatment at the emergency department.

Worst surgery with zero compassion
This medical practice deserves zero rating! Their service is absolutely abysmal. The concept of patient care seems completely foreign to them. They constantly deflect responsibility by transferring calls and rushing patients off the phone. Their standard response is to direct everyone to the emergency department, regardless of actual medical necessity. Getting an appointment is virtually impossible, and the reception staff display total indifference, either dismissing patients or instructing them to call back repeatedly with no genuine intention of helping. They might as well shut down entirely, as their current operation is utterly useless.

This medical practice is absolutely terrible and completely unhelpful. Getting an appointment is practically impossible - my father has suffered multiple strokes this year, and every time he's discharged from hospital, I'm instructed to arrange follow-up care, but I can't even get past the front desk. The receptionists are incredibly dismissive and uninterested in listening to my concerns. They direct you to call at 8am, but when you do, all appointments are instantly gone. No matter how urgently I explain my dad's critical medical needs, they remain cold and indifferent. I'm desperate to find alternative healthcare providers for my family, but living in Llay means we're stuck with these incompetent staff. It's completely unfair how little they seem to care about patient welfare, and I'm frustrated beyond words with this so-called medical service.
