Appointments frequently run behind schedule, with wait times extending from around ten minutes to well over an hour beyond the booked time for myself and my family members.

Surgery sorted emergency prescription while on holiday

During a holiday when I realised I had forgotten to bring my medication with me, the surgery made exceptional efforts to coordinate collection and an emergency prescription at a pharmacy in Scotland before I needed to catch the ferry. The team were incredibly supportive and considerate, calling me back within thirty minutes after having sorted everything out with the pharmacy. What a relief!

Receptionists genuinely listen and help find solutions

I have no complaints about this practice whatsoever. The entire team demonstrates genuine friendliness, helpfulness, and compassion, taking time to properly hear what patients have to say. The reception team go the extra mile to assist and offer guidance when suitable. The clinical staff maintain current knowledge and understanding. I have never experienced feeling dismissed or undervalued, regardless of whether treatment was necessary. The service provided is of a high standard and I feel fortunate to be a patient here. I would certainly encourage others to consider this surgery.

Reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful

I had a very negative experience at this practice. I felt the clinical assessments were inadequate, as my children were prescribed medications that did not address their underlying conditions. My children experienced prolonged illness over several months, and I was concerned that serious health issues were not being properly investigated or diagnosed at the time. It was only through private healthcare that conditions affecting my children were eventually identified and managed appropriately. I also had concerns about my interactions with reception staff, which I found unwelcoming. I have since moved to another practice where I feel my children's healthcare needs are being better supported and taken seriously. I would not recommend returning to my previous surgery.

Absolutely fantastic experience with all members of the team. I have never encountered any difficulties when trying to get in touch, and appointments have consistently been available within a day or two. Even during challenging periods, the practice and its entire team remained accessible and continued to offer appointments flexibly, whether in person or by telephone depending on individual needs. I cannot speak highly enough of them and am very grateful for the excellent care and support they provide.

Outstanding service and outstanding team members who are consistently supportive and compassionate. I have been a patient at this practice since its inception and have never experienced difficulties obtaining an appointment, with most requests being accommodated the same day. Given the frequency with which I have needed to access their services due to ongoing health matters, I have had numerous opportunities to experience their care, and it has been consistently excellent on every occasion. I would happily recommend this practice to anyone.

Month-long waits for children's appointments here

I had a very negative experience at this practice. I felt the clinical team did not adequately address my concerns about my child's health needs and I was not confident in their approach to paediatric care. Obtaining an appointment required a lengthy wait of several weeks. I was concerned that tests appeared to be ordered but results were not properly communicated or recorded in the system, despite my child continuing to experience symptoms. I have serious reservations about the quality of care provided, including concerns about the thoroughness of examinations and the appropriateness of any treatment recommendations made. I would rate this practice extremely poorly and have significant concerns about whether the staff should be working with young patients.

Medication prescribed without proper record checks

The practice seemed indifferent to my concerns. I felt that medication prescribed was unhelpful and left me without proper support, and I had the impression that my medical history was not thoroughly reviewed or considered during my visits.

Welcoming practice that is straightforward to access without steps. There is a modest car park adjacent to the building, though public transport links are also convenient. I have found it easy to secure appointments when needed and appreciate that both the administrative team and clinical staff are friendly and straightforward to communicate with. Pleased with our decision to register at this surgery after relocating.
