Incompetent doctor endangers my children's health

Incompetent Medical Professional; I rushed my kids to the hospital on an urgent basis, and the doctor claimed my children were perfectly fine and required no treatment. The following day, school teachers contacted us expressing serious concerns about my children's health and advised an emergency visit. I scheduled an appointment at Ashcroft Surgery, where the same physician was present. His attitude remained unchanged, again insisting my children were well and refusing to prescribe any medication. Subsequently, my children's condition deteriorated dramatically - to the point where they could barely stand. When I returned, the doctor merely apologized for his previous misunderstanding. It seems medical professionals only recognize serious illness when the situation becomes critically urgent. We are now extremely distressed because our children are unable to eat, drink, or sleep 😢😢😢😢😢😢

March 2025 update: Dr Jones continues to impress. Warm, supportive, and knowledgeable - couldn't ask for better! July 2024 update Newest review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr Ahmed was exceptional during my appointment on Thursday 18th July at 10:45. Compassionate, attentive, and extremely informative. She genuinely listened to my concerns, and I would absolutely return to see her. Additionally, I had a fantastic experience with Dr Jones in June 2024, who went above and beyond to address my partner's and my medical needs. He even accommodated me by personally conducting my blood tests the following day! Truly thrilled with Ashcroft's outstanding medical professionals. Grateful for their care! Older review Jade, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful. She promptly assisted me with my issue and is truly an outstanding representative of the Ashcroft Team. Sincere thanks!

Struggling healthcare system needs urgent reform now

The entire primary healthcare system in the United Kingdom is in shambles, a direct consequence of Conservative Party policies. The physicians themselves are competent, though they predominantly advise patients to return home and monitor symptoms, seeming somewhat uncertain. However, the appointment scheduling process is absolutely absurd. There's no digital booking system whatsoever. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. The recent addition of a Physiotherapist is genuinely excellent. Nevertheless, significant enhancements are desperately needed. We must urgently discover strategies to channel more financial resources into our local medical practices to restore acceptable service standards!

They consistently fail to provide assistance, and you'll inevitably return home without securing a treatment appointment, regardless of the severity of your condition. They'll simply dismiss you with a "come back tomorrow" and then schedule an appointment at their convenience, completely disregarding your urgent needs.

This is undoubtedly the most frustrating general practitioner I've encountered. I've been attempting to register myself and my child, and despite submitting all required documentation, I've been stuck in a seemingly endless loop of bureaucratic incompetence. After diligently providing every necessary document and patiently waiting for seven days, the process has dragged on for an entire month. Each time I think I'm making progress, I receive another call claiming I'm not registered. My patience has been completely exhausted, and I've never felt such profound disappointment with a healthcare provider.

Unprofessional doctor dismisses patient with hurtful remarks

My general practitioner suggested I return to India for medical care every half-year and criticized me for supposedly burdening British taxpayers. Despite my insistence about having national insurance, he persistently argued that I shouldn't have immigrated if I required ongoing monitoring for my adenoma. I was already feeling unwell, and his approach made the entire consultation extremely distressing. The experience left me feeling more emotionally defeated than before I entered the clinic. I'm uncertain whether his behavior stemmed from racial prejudice or if a healthcare professional should ever speak so harshly to an ill patient. Completely disheartened.
