Patient feedback reveals a deeply polarised experience at this practice, with stark contrasts in care quality across different service areas. Reception staff receive consistent praise for courtesy, efficiency, and helpfulness, while nursing care is frequently described as skilled and compassionate. However, appointment access remains a significant barrier, with patients reporting waits of three to six weeks for consultations and difficulty securing in-person visits. Communication responsiveness is inconsistent, with some patients experiencing delayed responses to digital requests and challenges navigating the online booking system.
Medical consultations present the most concerning pattern, with multiple accounts of dismissive physician behaviour, lack of empathy during patient interactions, and insufficient clinical attention to patient concerns. Several patients describe feeling unheard or judged rather than supported during appointments. The practice's shift towards digital-first communication has created additional friction, with patients expressing frustration about lengthy online symptom submission processes and difficulty reaching staff by phone. While some long-term patients report positive continuity of care and professional expertise, others describe a noticeable decline in service standards and accessibility over recent years.

Impossible to See Doctor While Pregnant
Absolute worst medical practice. Getting a consultation is like pulling teeth. Even when you're expecting a child and feeling terrible, they refuse to see you without a prior scheduled slot.

Friendly doctors helped my toddler quickly
The front desk team was incredibly supportive, and the surgical services here are unmatched in the region. My interactions with Dr. Ryan and Dr. Rashidy were exceptional. They promptly scheduled an appointment for my young child, and I couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommend their professional and attentive care.

Worst doctor visit ever with arrogant senior partner
Dr. Aras, a Senior Partner, demonstrated appalling bedside manner and treated my partner with complete disrespect. He desperately needs communication training and should learn some basic professional humility instead of behaving like an omnipotent being.

Nightmare at the Clinic: Doctor Destroyed My Confidence
Administrative personnel repeatedly misplaced my medical records, and the physician displayed an unprecedented level of rudeness. For the sake of your well-being, steer clear of this medical facility.

Terrible attitude at medical front desk
The front desk personnel display an astonishingly discourteous demeanor, which is particularly alarming given that they are responsible for interactions related to medical care. Their approach to handling patient inquiries is shockingly unprofessional and falls far below the standard one would expect in a healthcare setting.

Ashville Surgery: Another Frustrating Visit
Another trip to Ashville and yet another catastrophe. If this were a private healthcare provider, it would have been shut down long ago. It's utterly incomprehensible that they maintain a 4-star rating on the NHS site - there's a complete absence of accountability! I genuinely wish there was an option for a "zero star" evaluation. To the staff at this practice - you should be thoroughly embarrassed!

Dr. Aras: Unprofessional and Disrespectful Physician
Terrible healthcare facility - Dr. Aras is hands-down the most disrespectful physician I've encountered. I was compelled to file a formal complaint with the General Medical Council due to his unprofessional behavior. Potential patients, take note of these warnings and avoid this doctor at all costs.

Friendly Staff, but Maria Made Me Uncomfortable
The medical professionals and male reception staff are exceptional, and I was truly heartbroken when I had to move away from Fulham for twelve months. Unfortunately, the nurse named Maria is completely unpleasant - she comes across as harsh, distant, and uncaring. Despite my being a high-risk patient who requires annual screening, she flatly denied me a crucial smear test. In another incident, when she believed I was missing my medical records, she stubbornly withheld my child's preschool vaccination, and her expression was priceless when I actually produced the documentation. It's clear she's the quintessential bureaucratic type who rigidly follows rules without compassion. I genuinely sympathize with her colleagues who must endure working alongside such an inflexible and authoritarian individual.

Stephania and Jenny Saved the Day
I was thoroughly impressed by the reception staff, especially Stephania and Jenny, who demonstrated exceptional efficiency and attention to detail. Despite experiencing initial difficulties scheduling an appointment, Dr. Ryan promptly reached out to me, providing valuable guidance regarding my concerns. When I ultimately secured my appointment, Tania, the nurse, displayed remarkable professionalism and maintained a welcoming demeanor.

Rushed, Dismissive Six-Minute GP Appointment
Utterly disgraceful encounter with Dr. Aras at my local surgery. The three-week wait for an appointment is typical, but the experience was nightmarish. I originally booked the slot for one health concern, which had since developed additional complications I desperately wanted to address. Upon arrival, the receptionist claimed I was 20 minutes late for my 3:30 pm appointment, insisting I'd booked for 3:10 pm - which was completely false. I was forced to wait while other patients were seen first. When finally called in, the consultation was a nightmare. The doctor continuously checked his mobile phone while half-heartedly listening to my concerns. After making minimal notes, he abruptly cut me off when I tried to discuss my other health issues, demanding I book separate appointments. When I apologetically tried to smooth over the tension, he coldly responded that he didn't believe my apology. The entire consultation lasted a mere six minutes, after which I was promptly dismissed. His bedside manner was shockingly unprofessional - I felt like an inconvenience, spoken to in a way no professional should ever address a patient. I left feeling utterly humiliated and defeated, immediately deciding to seek a private GP. Despite having registered with numerous London practices and always receiving excellent NHS care, this experience with Dr. Aras at Ashville Surgery was unacceptable. I sought medical help and compassion, but received only rudeness and disrespect.

Terrible registration nightmare at this clinic
The personnel at this medical facility are incredibly discourteous, completely ignoring patients upon entry. Their attitude is thoroughly unhelpful and unprofessional. I submitted my registration paperwork several months back, and they have yet to finalize it. I've never encountered such a dismally poor level of service anywhere before.

Dismissive Nurse Made Me Feel Worse
I was extremely unwell, bedridden and experiencing severe dizziness and weakness along with chills and vertigo. I reached out to my general practitioner seeking medical assistance, and they said someone would call me back. When the call came, I inquired about a potential visit, but the woman on the phone dismissively suggested I should be able to walk because I'm "young and fit". I found her response incredibly offensive and insensitive. Clearly, the fact that I was calling indicated I was far from well, and her condescending attitude made me feel invalidated and belittled. It seemed she was implying I had no right to request help or that my symptoms weren't genuine. Healthcare professionals should be much more compassionate and understanding, taking patients' concerns seriously instead of making judgmental remarks. Such an approach demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and professionalism, and individuals with this attitude should not be working in healthcare.

Rude doctor made me feel awful
Decent facility, but Dr. HAYWARD is an absolutely terrible physician with an appalling bedside manner. During our phone conversation, she continuously grumbled about the inconvenience of processing my referral, lamenting how swamped she was and dramatically emphasizing that she'd been working since 9am!!! Her conduct was completely unacceptable and thoroughly unprofessional. If you're considering this practice, I strongly advise steering clear of her at all costs.

Great Care in Crowded Hammersmith Clinic
Considering the dense population in this London area, it's truly remarkable how the medical staff at this general practice manage to provide such a compassionate and patient-focused approach. Having been a registered patient here for an extended period, I feel fortunate to rely on their care, especially when compared to other GP practices I've encountered throughout London and the broader UK. While healthcare delivery is inevitably complex and imperfect, these professionals stand out significantly. When weighing their performance against alternative services, I can confidently award them top marks.
