Excellent new appointment system

I was nervous to use this new system but found it very easy to use for an elderly technophobe. I sent off my request & was contacted within 10’ !!! Given appointment for an hour later & on medication same day. Grateful & impressed.

Unhelpful staff make medical visit a nightmare

The front desk staff demonstrate a severe lack of compassion when interacting with patients who are already in a fragile state. The management should seriously consider implementing comprehensive customer service training. I'm relieved that the communication protocol is being modernized on 01/09/25, allowing patients to directly submit messages that will be professionally evaluated by medical professionals.

Staff at the front desk displayed appalling manners towards me and my kids, demonstrating an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism. I'm shocked that such an employee is permitted to interact with families while maintaining such a disrespectful attitude.

Frustrating prescription service needs urgent improvement

Currently experiencing login difficulties for requesting repeat prescriptions, and consequently not receiving my medications when required. These problems have emerged exclusively since the transition to Atlantic, whereas I encountered zero issues during my time with Alverton surgery. The new webpage is thoroughly unsatisfactory, and I strongly urge the resolution of these ongoing complications.

Worst medical practice ever experienced in my life

Alverton Surgery has hit rock bottom. I never thought it could deteriorate further. Their computer systems are completely unusable, prescription requests vanish without a trace before reaching the pharmacy, and I've received correspondence seemingly aimed at silencing my complaints. The practice nurse denied me essential treatment, leading to an infection. One morning, I stood helplessly at the locked entrance for 10 minutes, watching staff members blankly ignore me before I was forced to force the door open. To top it all off, they've now messed up my appointment time, preventing me from being seen today! I'm seriously considering involving NHS England to address these ongoing issues!!!!!
