Terrible midwife and doctor service during pregnancy

During my first pregnancy, we encountered multiple issues with our midwives. Three different midwives were assigned to us, and I had to remind one to take blood, while the others seemed disinterested in answering our questions. They consistently postponed reviewing our birth plan, repeatedly stating "we do that at 30 weeks" but never actually following through. I frequently had to contact Medicom myself to schedule appointments and scans due to ongoing communication breakdowns. It felt like they essentially stopped engaging with patients after 20 weeks. As first-time parents, we naturally wanted to discuss our concerns and feel supported during this vulnerable time. Despite submitting a written cancellation for an appointment a week in advance, I still received a call questioning my absence. When I was 36 weeks pregnant, a midwife's incorrect measurement suggested our baby hadn't grown or had even shrunk, triggering a week of intense stress and anxiety. This led to a rollercoaster of diagnoses involving potential issues like small baby size, excessive amniotic fluid, gestational diabetes, and mild preeclampsia, ultimately resulting in early labor at 37+1. Most recently, the doctor's surgery cancelled one of three appointments without notification and then rejected me for being one minute late. Despite trying to sign in with a malfunctioning machine and waiting for the receptionist, I was told I was 10 minutes late. With no other patients in the waiting area, they could have easily accommodated me. Aren't medical facilities supposed to be compassionate and helpful? Their communication is abysmal, and I will definitely be filing a complaint. I'm seriously considering changing surgeries because I need to trust them with my daughter's health, and if they can't manage basic appointment scheduling and communication, I'll find a practice that can.

Worst pharmacy experience ever total nightmare

If I could award zero stars, I absolutely would. I arrived to collect my medication and was informed it was at the pharmacy. Upon reaching the pharmacy, it wasn't there. The pharmacist called the medical office, who then admitted they had neglected to print the prescription, despite claiming just moments earlier that it had been sent. This is the second time this incompetent error has occurred 😡

Disappointing decline of a once great medical practice

The quality has significantly deteriorated in recent years. It's nearly impossible to secure an appointment or even receive a return call, and when you do get seen, it's typically by a student still in the midst of their medical training. What was once a reputable medical practice has now become a shadow of its former self.

Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful medical staff

Completely worthless. The administrative personnel are obsessed with interrogating you about your condition before allowing you to consult a physician, yet when you request test results, they become uncooperative. They consistently ignore email communications regarding medication needs. It's impossible to maintain continuity of care since you're constantly seeing different doctors. Their level of disinterest in patient well-being is absolutely shocking.

Compassionate doctor changed my life forever

After decades of consulting the same medical professionals, I recently met Dr. Blake, who appears to be around my age. I felt he had a more contemporary understanding of today's world, and our conversations extended beyond just medical matters - he struck me as a genuinely intelligent professional. Typically, I struggle to articulate my thoughts, but with him, I felt completely comfortable and relaxed. Terrible healthcare service with zero patient support

These healthcare providers show no interest in addressing my medical concerns, and scheduling an appointment is extremely challenging. I've been struggling with a sinus infection for half a year without receiving any meaningful treatment from this general practitioner. In contrast, when I visited the walk-in centre, they were actually helpful. I absolutely would not suggest this practice to anyone seeking medical care.

Terrible service at this discriminatory and unhelpful gp surgery

This GPS practice is absolutely dreadful, with staff members who are completely ineffective and useless. In all my nearly six decades of life, I have never encountered such a disappointing medical facility. My strong recommendation is to avoid this surgery, especially if you are a white British patient.
