There is adequate parking available at this location. This is not my regular practice, but my spouse has been attending for quite some time and is satisfied with the service. Standard appointments can be booked by calling at 8am, after which the staff log the request and contact you back at a later time. This contrasts with my own experience at a different medical centre.

I subsequently accessed private healthcare through my work insurance and received prompt attention with suitable treatment arranged. I have consistently struggled to secure appointments at this practice over an extended period.

Receptionist refused to book appointment while on the phone

Disappointing experience. I attended the pharmacy with my young child and was directed to contact the medical centre. After calling, I was advised to ring 111 due to lack of same-day availability. I spent considerable time speaking with several representatives at 111 to arrange a telephone consultation with the medical centre. When the receptionist subsequently called back to relay that the clinician suggested ringing back the following morning, I requested that an appointment be scheduled during that call. The request was declined, which I found to be an frustrating approach to their booking procedures.

I was very disappointed that my elderly relative, who was residing in a care facility, did not receive a visit from a healthcare professional despite being unwell for an extended period. The care home made multiple requests for medical attention. The situation resulted in a serious health incident at the facility, necessitating emergency ambulance transport and hospital assessment.

Impossible to reach by phone or email

This practice has been extremely disappointing. I requested a document through email as they suggested, only to be told I must call at 8am the following day. Unfortunately, the phones are nearly impossible to reach - after waiting for extended periods, I gave up trying to get through. The reception staff have come across as unwelcoming, with unhelpful attitudes when I've attempted to speak with them. I would recommend considering alternative surgeries in the area if you have the option, as I felt the service fell well short of what I would expect from a proper medical practice.

Couldn't get through on the phone for months

Experiencing concerning symptoms, I felt dismissed when advised to remain calm. I have been extremely frustrated with the difficulty in reaching the practice by telephone, as lines have been consistently busy for an extended period. The repeated unsuccessful attempts to get through have worn me down, and I have largely stopped trying to contact them. I feel I am receiving no support whatsoever, and at this point I have lost confidence in the service.

Poor experience overall. The reception team came across as unwelcoming. I have been a patient at this practice for a considerable time, and the quality of service appears to have declined with each visit. Access seems limited if you contact them after 8am. Additionally, the telephone lines are difficult to get through on, and by the time you do manage to connect, it may be too late for assistance. I recognise the challenges facing the NHS, but the level of empathy shown by reception staff fell short of expectations.
