Quick callback put my mind at ease

Excellent service from the reception team through to the clinical consultation. The entire pathway from initial concern to treatment completion took less than six weeks, even during a particularly challenging period. Recently, when I experienced discomfort in the breast and underarm area, I received prompt attention and a reassuring callback. The clinician offered me the choice of an immediate appointment for reassurance or a short period of observation, and I opted for the latter approach. The advice proved sound, and the concern resolved as suggested. I felt completely confident in the assessment and guidance provided throughout my care. Thank you.

Reception staff were helpful but felt unheard during appointment

Generally a good practice overall. I feel strongly about raising awareness regarding my experience. I underwent what I perceived as unnecessary medical procedures that caused me discomfort, and received comments about my personal circumstances that I found hurtful and inaccurate, which negatively affected my wellbeing. I am aware that contemporary medical professionals are expected to demonstrate empathy and interpersonal skills as part of their professional standards. In my view, this was not evident in my interactions. I have observed that some practitioners from an earlier generation employed approaches that would be considered less aligned with current expectations of compassionate care. The profession has evolved to place greater emphasis on kindness and emotional intelligence, which are now integral to modern practice standards. Based on my experience, I do not believe the approach I encountered would meet the expectations of contemporary professional standards.

Staff dismissive and difficult to reach

I have found the service dismissive over the past year and a half, with unhelpful and rude interactions from staff members. Attempting to access a doctor proved difficult, and when contact was attempted, there seemed to be minimal effort to reach patients. I ultimately decided to pursue private healthcare as an alternative. I felt the practice did not meet expected standards during the challenging period.
