While travelling away from my usual area and experiencing significant illness, I found the reception staff to be considerate and remarkably supportive. A prompt telephone appointment with the clinician resulted in swift prescription arrangements, with the healthcare professional demonstrating warmth, competence and understanding throughout. Clear guidance was provided for ongoing care and the medication was available for pickup at the local pharmacy as arranged. This experience exemplified high-quality NHS care and I was genuinely satisfied with the service received.

Reception staff sorted medication quickly

We were visiting the area for a few weeks when we needed to obtain some medication. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and efficiently arranged for the required items to be available within a few hours. We appreciated this. The service was excellent.

Practice refused to help during holiday emergency

My spouse became unwell while we were away on holiday. I contacted the practice for assistance but received no support. I was instructed to contact my regular doctor back home and made another attempt to request help, however I continued to encounter difficulties. I then reached out to an alternative practice and received the assistance we required. I had believed that medical professionals were meant to provide care to people in need.

Upon relocating from our previous area, we had concerns about finding comparable healthcare services. We need not have been anxious, as we discovered equally excellent medical professionals supported by highly competent administrative staff. The standard of care has been outstanding.

Quick appointment and helpful in-house dispensary

During a recent visit to Haven, my young child required assessment for a urinary tract infection. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice, as they were able to arrange an appointment promptly. The clinician provided excellent care throughout the consultation. The added convenience of having an on-site dispensary meant there was no need to visit a separate pharmacy afterwards.

Friendly staff but prescription timing doesn't work

The staff members were generally pleasant and accommodating, however I was quite let down when I discovered I couldn't arrange my medication this evening after phoning at 5.10 pm, as I was informed prescriptions aren't processed after 5 o'clock. This feels particularly inconvenient for those of us who finish work later in the day, especially considering that on a previous occasion when I called before starting work, I was told they didn't handle prescriptions at that time either.
