I'd rate this practice at absolute rock bottom if possible. The wait time for an appointment stretches to nearly three weeks, effectively compelling patients such as myself to seek private healthcare just to receive timely medical attention. Their consultations feel perfunctory - they appear overly eager to dispense antidepressants and other medications, even when medical records explicitly indicate these should be avoided. Attempts to request additional diagnostic procedures or examinations to uncover underlying health concerns are consistently dismissed, ultimately leaving patients without meaningful insights or adequate medical support. This falls far short of what one should expect from a general practice.

Terrible manager ruins patient experience with rudeness
The practice manager's behavior was utterly unacceptable. After consulting with reception to verify our wait time, which had exceeded an hour, I politely inquired about meeting with the practice manager to discuss the excessive delay. The reception staff were courteous as always. When the manager arrived, she immediately misaddressed me, accused me of being aggressive and loud, despite my calm demeanor, and refused to hear my reasonable concern. I was stunned, knowing I would never raise my voice in front of my toddler or in a public setting with other patients and staff present. Her hostility stemmed from being pulled away from a meeting, and she directed her frustration directly at me. Fortunately, my doctor, who has always been excellent, intervened and dismissed her when it became clear she had no intention of helping. I am deeply concerned that vulnerable patients might be subjected to such an unprofessional individual when attempting to lodge a complaint. What began as a simple, constructive observation about unrealistic wait times has now escalated into a much more serious issue, and I am compelled to pursue this matter further to prevent similar mistreatment of other patients.

I've never encountered any issues with Belmont, which some might call luck, but I attribute it to using their services appropriately and treating the staff with basic human respect. The Receptionists, Doctors, and Nurses are people who deserve to be treated as you would want to be treated. Many posting negative reviews seem oblivious to the fact that our NHS is overwhelmed and underfunded, with the situation exacerbated by patients seeking help for minor ailments like small cuts and common colds. This creates significant challenges in booking appointments. I genuinely can't understand the rationale behind negative comments about a healthcare facility designed to support you and your loved ones. If you're dissatisfied, you could always relocate and free up space - though of course, you won't, because you'd struggle to find another NHS-funded facility nearby that would accept you.

This establishment is absolutely terrible. The front desk staff are incredibly dismissive and completely uninterested in hearing patients out. If you're planning to visit these doctors, I strongly urge you to thoroughly examine any prescribed medications and conduct your own investigation before consuming them. Nhs healthcare nightmare of bureaucratic incompetence
I'm not the most vulnerable individual, but this experience starkly illustrates the profound dysfunction within the NHS. Regrettably, this practice epitomizes the standard NHS mediocrity. In May, I scheduled an appointment with a nurse after completing patient registration. I also secured a doctor's appointment where the physician was commendably thorough, inquiring about my symptoms and providing comprehensive guidance. He recommended a self-referral. Upon calling the referral line, an automated message redirected me elsewhere. After an interminable hold, I was instructed to refer myself online. Two days later, the hospital rejected my self-referral, suggesting I consult my GP, who was copied on the letter. My GP remained silent for days. Just before a work meeting, I received an unexpected assessment call. The caller promised to follow up after 12, but never did. I submitted another advice request. Days later, a nurse suggested self-referring elsewhere, acknowledging the initial rejection's inexplicability. She recommended scheduling another GP appointment. That evening, a GP called at 8:23 p.m. She demanded the letter, despite my explaining it was already CC'd to my GP. She abruptly terminated the 2-minute, 34-second call, refusing any consultation without the document—even though I hadn't requested medication. The reception later explained it was a "confederation doctor" and suggested using an online form. On 27/08, my online services were blocked. Reception claimed my registration checks were incomplete. When I sought clarification—having already been reviewed by a nurse—they stated I was no longer registered and must re-register. Unable to re-register online due to my provider status, I revisited the practice. They insisted I complete a new registration form. When I questioned my deregistration, they claimed another provider had registered me, but couldn't specify who. Their response was frustratingly circular. Subsequent developments: 1. Another unanswered self-referral 2. Another nurse check with no follow-up 3. An ignored complaint 4. One genuinely helpful doctor's appointment. Is this center particularly terrible? I wish I could say yes, but it's merely a typical representation of the NHS's brokenness—a disheartening blend of exceptional and incompetent professionals that ultimately leaves patients exhausted.

Utterly dreadful experience. The front desk staff are incredibly discourteous, loud, and go out of their way to be unhelpful. I've been suffering from persistent respiratory issues and chronic coughing because they repeatedly dismissed my concerns and insisted I was perfectly healthy. The local pharmacists provided more genuine assistance than this general practitioner. Steer clear of this practice at all expenses.
