Terrible service and lack of medical compassion
The front desk staff displayed a complete lack of empathy and was incredibly unhelpful. My spouse and child were both suffering from elevated temperatures and respiratory issues, with my child additionally battling an infected foot wound. When I attempted to schedule medical consultations for them, the receptionist callously insisted that neither my husband nor my child required a doctor's examination and that the physician would be unable to provide any meaningful assistance. She categorically declined to book any general practitioner appointments for my family members.

Terrible service and unprofessional medical care
My interaction with this healthcare provider has been frustrating due to extremely long wait times for appointments. Communication is poor, as my emails consistently go unaddressed, and I've had to repeatedly follow up. Additionally, I underwent a blood draw for a calcium test, but the test was not performed correctly, forcing me to repeat the procedure. This is particularly challenging given my difficult veins. The venipuncture site has left me with uncomfortable bumps and itching. As a result, I am seriously considering switching to a different general practice.

Terrible service and rude staff at pediatric clinic
I reached out to the clinic early in the day regarding my little son's health concerns. When I called around 10 am, the receptionist displayed an incredibly unprofessional attitude, criticizing me for not calling earlier as if I could predict exactly when my child would become unwell. She aggressively demanded to know about vomiting, repeatedly pressing me with a dismissive tone. I was already anxious because my son was experiencing disturbing symptoms like eye rolling and shaking, and the last thing I needed was to be treated so disrespectfully. This isn't an isolated incident - I've encountered similar discourteous treatment from their staff before. The way they handle patient communication is completely unacceptable. Absolutely disgraceful!!!

I waited an entire hour just to receive a phone call, and this deserves absolutely no rating. The service was incredibly discourteous. I'm convinced all other reviews are fabricated. If possible, avoid this establishment at all costs - it's truly revolting and disrespectful. Please heed my warning and seek alternatives. After enduring a lengthy phone hold, I was greeted by an automated message stating they couldn't answer, which was extremely unprofessional. The entire experience was so aggravating that it left me thoroughly exasperated and infuriated.

The staff member's attitude and communication were completely unacceptable, especially for someone working in a medical setting. Unhelpful doctor ruins otherwise great medical practice
I recently switched to this GP surgery from Central Uxbridge nearby. I'm pleased to report that the phone wait times and appointment scheduling are significantly improved compared to my previous practice, where I would spend over 45 minutes just trying to reach reception. The staff were welcoming both during my phone calls and when I visited in person. Unfortunately, my consultation with Dr Madock was deeply frustrating. When I inquired about my medical condition, she dismissively told me, verbatim, "I don't know, you'll have to look it up". It's unacceptable that I should be expected to research my own symptoms and potential treatments online. Everyone knows that internet searches are unreliable for medical advice! I asked about a specific medication that I know helps many patients with my condition, and while she claimed it wasn't effective, I found clear evidence on the NHS website confirming its benefits for symptom management. When I requested a blood test to investigate my condition further, she outright refused. I felt completely unsupported, with my legitimate health concerns seemingly ignored. While I can't comment on the other doctors at this surgery since I've only seen Dr Madock, my initial experience has been disappointing.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate and caring staff
I'm puzzled why this general practice hasn't received top ratings, possibly due to pandemic challenges or patient misunderstandings. I recently registered here after moving to Uxbridge about a year ago. The receptionists are incredibly warm and supportive. Throughout our time here, my wife and I have interacted numerous times with the reception staff and doctors regarding our health and our young 6-month-old son. The care we've experienced has completely surpassed our expectations. They consistently demonstrate a willingness to assist to the best of their abilities. I'm thoroughly impressed with all staff members, their services, and the overall quality of care. During my recent visits, I consulted with Dr Shaikh and spoke with Dr Garsin. Dr Sharma, in particular, is exceptionally excellent. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for their outstanding support.

Frustrating registration nightmare with local medical practice
I attempted to register with this medical practice through the NHS GP website for myself and my aging parents. After completing three comprehensive application forms, the clinic contacted me today to inform me that we are outside their service area, despite residing merely a 5-minute drive away in Cowley, Uxbridge. They are located in Uxbridge Town centre. Interestingly, my sister, who lives just a street from us, was successfully registered with them a few years back. The whole situation is utterly absurd. They even suggested that the surgery directly across the street would accept our registration. What complete nonsense. It would be far more helpful if this practice would clearly communicate their catchment boundaries to potential new patients before putting them through the exhausting application process.

After submitting an online consultation form, physicians contact you promptly within just a few hours. The staff are incredibly supportive and accommodating.
