Parking Nightmare at Shady Appointment Spot

Steer clear of this establishment at all costs. They operate a deceptive parking scheme. I visited for a scheduled appointment and was slapped with an exorbitant penalty. Even after submitting proof of my legitimate visit, they stubbornly refused to cancel the fine. It's an untrustworthy operation that will only cause you immense frustration. Attempting to resolve the issue fairly is impossible, as their customer service is completely unresponsive. A shady and unreliable business that should be avoided.

Cancelled Ultrasound After 10-Minute Delay

The staff were hostile, dismissing me while I was simply waiting in line, telling me to move away so they could talk to the receptionist. My Ultra Sound appointment was abruptly cancelled because I arrived a few minutes late, despite waiting months for this crucial examination while struggling with breathing difficulties and acid reflux. I explained I'd traveled 20 miles, arranged expensive child care (after being told children weren't permitted), and was delayed by unexpected roadworks. The signage was unclear upon entering the building, and they never communicated that being even slightly late would result in appointment cancellation. Their response showed zero empathy, suggesting that if everyone behaved like me, it would cause significant delays. The interaction felt punitive and targeted. Clearly, they demonstrated no concern for patients' circumstances or the urgency of medical needs. The ultrasound technician could have easily accommodated my slight delay but chose instead to argue. Their behavior completely contradicts healthcare principles, seeming more interested in bureaucratic rigidity than patient care. I'm now at risk of requiring emergency treatment due to their unprofessional conduct. Their complete lack of compassion and unwillingness to consider individual situations is appalling. I've been left frustrated, stressed, and without the medical assessment I desperately needed, having wasted considerable time, energy, and resources.

Waste of Time at This Useless Surgery

They might as well shut down this medical practice because it's completely pointless 😕 When you try calling, they never pick up and just play a message saying "unable to answer your call" And if you actually show up at the surgery, they claim no doctors are available today and tell you to come back tomorrow or dial 111 ... So what's even the purpose of being open if all they do is give these unhelpful instructions?

Long wait after urgent hospital referral

On September 3rd around 5 PM, I experienced respiratory issues and abdominal discomfort. The reception staff informed me that calling 111 was my sole option for securing a next-day appointment. Following their advice, I contacted 111, and a GP did ring me back within the promised two-hour window. I was instructed to proceed to Stoke Mandeville hospital, with assurances of urgent treatment. However, this turned out to be completely misleading, and I ended up waiting in the Accident & Emergency department until 4 AM. THIS GP SURGERY IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND SHOULD BE COMPLETELY AVOIDED.

Completely worthless front desk staff acting high and mighty like they're the physician, super strange when I had a straightforward inquiry about my leg issue. Unable to directly communicate with my actual GP despite him being nearby, they suggested I call 111 or visit a pharmacy instead - absolutely ridiculous. These staff urgently require comprehensive customer service training. Fortunately, my spouse will return soon. Dr. Wood is an excellent healthcare provider, but these uninformed receptionists significantly undermine his practice's reputation - a sentiment my husband also firmly supports.

I am utterly dismayed by the treatment I encountered. The receptionist, "SALLY" (who withheld her full name), was extremely discourteous, interrupting me repeatedly and offering zero meaningful help. Her conduct was thoroughly unprofessional and completely unhelpful. Based on numerous similar accounts, I strongly advise against patronizing this business due to their consistently poor attitude. Wasted Morning at Clinic with No Staff

Scheduled for an 8:30 appointment, I arrived punctually, 10 minutes early. Encountered a lengthy line stretching across the parking area. Waited until the appointed time. Quickly logged into the parking system to avoid penalties, but discovered the appointment system was non-functional. Approached the front desk—completely unstaffed. Proceeded to the usual nurse's location. Remained there until 8:50, with absolutely no staff members appearing. Departed at 8:55. It's utterly frustrating that patients receive stern reminders about £160 penalties for missed appointments when the facility's own staff are conspicuously absent and unresponsive.

Rushed Doctor Barely Listened to My Concerns

Aside from the courteous front desk staff and nursing team, this experience would have been a complete zero. The trainee physician spent a quarter-hour discussing my concerns, only to have the actual doctor breeze in, declare everything "looks okay" without conducting any meaningful examination. Apparently, modern medical practice now involves visual diagnosis without proper investigation 👍 I decided to give it four weeks post-appointment to see if their casual assessment held up, and surprise – it absolutely did not... 😀 much appreciation for that.

Utterly appalled by this medical facility. If the rating system allowed it, I'd assign zero stars. The physicians are commendable — courteous and competent — but the front desk personnel are a nightmare. Discourteous, indifferent, and completely unsuitable as the initial patient interface. Today, I attempted to discuss a critical matter, and before I could complete my explanation, the receptionist abruptly terminated the call. No clarification, no understanding, just an immediate disconnect. The behavior is inexcusably offensive. This isn't an isolated incident — multiple reception staff consistently demonstrate a shocking lack of basic human respect. The entire situation is truly shameful.

Nightmare Clinic: Impossible to Get an Appointment

No appointments available, no check-ups possible, no emergency slots - you'll be lucky to even reach a receptionist, who'll likely just hang up or inform you of the impossibility. Expect to spend an hour on hold, only to discover you're 80th in line! 😂 Run!! If you're in this doctor's catchment area (which you probably are), even if you live an hour away, prepare for endless frustration. Getting a check-up is impossible, especially for a newborn. To secure an appointment, you must call emergency services at 8 am, only to be hung up on repeatedly until they've exhausted all slots. When they finally answer, they'll have modified their system to eliminate callback options, forcing you to waste hours in the queue! It's an absolute nightmare scheduling an appointment. I ensure my entire day is free just to navigate their impossible calling system or resort to dialing 111 when they claim no availability 🙄. They've clearly accepted far more patients than they can possibly manage. The much-praised callback option is a myth - it only works if you're below 30th in line; otherwise, you're condemned to wait 🤦🏼‍♀️
