Patient feedback reveals significant challenges with appointment access and phone system responsiveness, which dominate concerns across the file. Patients consistently report difficulties booking appointments, with many unable to reach the practice by phone or facing long waiting times when calls do connect. Reception experience emerges as a key issue, with multiple accounts of discourteous or dismissive staff interactions, though some patients praise individual reception staff members for their helpfulness. Communication gaps are evident, including delayed callbacks, unclear information about procedures, and insufficient notice of appointment cancellations.
In contrast, feedback about clinical care is notably positive, with patients frequently commending doctors and nurses for their professionalism, compassion, and thorough consultations. Several patients specifically highlight individual practitioners as exceptional and caring. The practice environment itself receives praise for being well-maintained and modern.
The overall pattern suggests a practice struggling with operational capacity and phone system infrastructure, creating barriers to access that frustrate patients despite appreciating the quality of medical care once they secure appointments. Some patients acknowledge systemic pressures on NHS services, while others express concern about whether the practice can adequately serve its patient population given current constraints.

Frustrating cancellations ruined my medical appointment
Healthshare let me down by cancelling my scheduled appointments twice on the same day. Their service is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of professionalism. An oversight organization needs to investigate and monitor their business practices.

Frustrating wait times and no real help
I can't suggest this service. Communication is practically nonexistent, as phone contact is completely blocked. They consistently redirect calls to emergency lines. I've been forced to abandon numerous issues, merely hoping for spontaneous resolution. It seems they're overwhelmed by servicing too many areas and lack the capacity to handle their workload effectively. They consistently avoid addressing the underlying causes of problems.

Impossible to Book an Appointment at This GP
The absolute worst general practice in Aylesbury. I've been attempting to schedule appointments since Monday, and today when I visited the reception, they informed me no slots are available. What a complete farce!!!! Can anyone there actually advise me on the optimal time to book an appointment?!!!! I would never recommend this practice to anyone.

Painful Weekend with No Doctor's Help
I'm absolutely livid. With a potential stomach ulcer and pending test results, I refrained from dialing emergency services during the weekend, hoping to manage through a scheduled telephone consultation with my doctor. I spent the entire previous day waiting, and even called the medical practice 90 minutes before closing to emphasize that I hadn't received any contact. The staff assured me I would definitely get a call and promised to relay my message to the GP... Yet, I'm still waiting with no communication.

Terrible Healthcare Service Made My Health Worse
The medical staff are utterly ineffective and unprofessional. This practice seems completely pointless when its employees are so hostile and unhelpful towards patients. Instead of providing care, they actually appear to be detrimental to people's medical well-being. Update to your response. Your reply is exactly as incompetent as I expected. Which manager are you even referring to? It seems like a different person is in charge every single day. One day it's Jackie, the next it's some random gentleman. The practice manager has my complete contact information and phone number, yet they still haven't reached out to me despite my request being days old. Regardless, I've now escalated this matter to the commissioning group so they can conduct a proper investigation into your conduct.

Nightmare to Book an Appointment Here
Attempting to schedule a consultation is completely futile. Their service has deteriorated dramatically after consolidating three medical practices. Steer clear of registering with this clinic.

Worried Sick Waiting for Doctor's Call
I contacted 111 earlier today seeking medical advice for my one-year-old, who is experiencing a dangerously high fever. They directed me to the GP practice, assuring me a doctor would call within an hour and instructing me to confirm with the practice. I followed their guidance, and the receptionist confirmed a doctor would reach out shortly. However, it's now 7:30 PM, and despite keeping my phone on maximum volume and within reach at all times, I have not received a single call. My child is in the worst condition I've ever seen, and I'm unable to get any assistance from her GP, even through the 111 service. It appears that regardless of the urgency or desperation of the situation, securing a medical consultation seems impossible.

Caring doctors helped me through my fears
I'm absolutely delighted with the medical care I've received. The practice consistently follows up with me and my family members whenever there's a health concern. When I required a consultation and blood work, I was genuinely impressed by the compassionate and understanding staff, particularly their sensitivity when I expressed my fear of needles. Whenever someone inquires about Berrycroft surgery, I enthusiastically recommend them without hesitation, proclaiming they are truly exceptional.

Worst medical care I've ever experienced
I wish I could give this place zero stars because it truly merits such a low rating! The complete absence of patient care and basic organizational skills is shocking. First, attempting to book an appointment is like trying to win an impossible lottery. And if by some miracle you secure a slot, don't anticipate actually seeing a physician. Instead, you'll likely receive a cryptic message about "problematic test results" with zero additional context or support. Am I expected to become my own medical detective? The scan appointment saga is equally infuriating. After waiting three excruciating months, I meticulously followed their self-service system's instructions, only to squander over an hour in the incorrect department. This isn't merely inconvenient; it's pure, unadulterated incompetence – and cost me my desperately needed appointment! Their so-called "phone consultations" are another comedic disaster. Rather than speaking with a qualified medical professional, you're condemned to conversing with a paramedic who seemingly possesses medical expertise equivalent to a weekend first-aid workshop participant. It's utterly ridiculous. The bureaucratic nonsense reaches peak absurdity when you're initially told all appointments are full, then advised to contact 111, who then redirect you back to the surgery, where suddenly – miraculously – an appointment slot materializes. What a monumentally inefficient use of time and resources. My advice? Steer clear of this place. It's painfully evident they prioritize administrative complexity over genuine patient care.
