All team members have been efficient and courteous during both telephone contact and in-person visits to the practice. The clinicians consistently make time to listen carefully and ensure they address any concerns raised. Having been a patient at this practice for many decades, I remain very satisfied and have no intention of changing.

Prescriptions repeatedly not processed when requested

I would rate this experience much lower if possible. On multiple occasions, my father has experienced gaps in receiving his regular medications because prescriptions have not been processed promptly, despite repeated requests to address this issue. My stepmother has been experiencing significant discomfort and physical tension that has affected her wellbeing. The initial assessment suggested heartburn, though she questioned whether this diagnosis fully explained her symptoms affecting multiple areas of her body. Despite her concerns, she was provided with treatment aligned with the initial assessment. I feel this practice has not met expectations and represents a disappointing experience. I have concerns about the level of patient care and consideration provided. I question the qualifications and competence of the staff working at this surgery.

Practice cancelled appointment for minor lateness

I arrived a few minutes behind schedule due to traffic conditions and road disruptions. While another appointment was allowed to proceed early, my own appointment was subsequently cancelled. It appears that if you are running late, the practice may cancel your slot rather than accommodate a delayed arrival, so punctuality is important when attending this surgery.

The clinician I see has always gone above and beyond for me. They're an amazing doctor. The practice is excellent, there's no unnecessary delay - I had a concern and was referred to hospital within a few weeks. The reception staff are lovely, as are the nursing team.

I recently moved to the area and transferred my regular medications to this practice. Unfortunately, they were unexpectedly discontinued without explanation. Additionally, I have been waiting for several days for a prescription that I'm told has been submitted multiple times, yet I still haven't received it. This situation has left me without my essential medications for an extended period, which has been very frustrating and concerning given my health needs. I found the handling of this matter to be disappointing and feel the service fell short of what I would expect.

The practice has declined since the previous doctor retired. The former arrangement with just that doctor and support staff seemed to work better than the current setup across the different locations.

Endless phone calls to confirm urgent scan status

I have found the service to be disappointing overall. I am a primary carer for a young child who is very dependent on me, and over the past two years I have needed to make numerous visits to seek a proper diagnosis for my own health concerns. The process has been frustrating, as I have experienced ongoing pain and have had to make repeated calls between the practice and the hospital to clarify my referral status. I was told multiple times that my scan had been marked as routine rather than urgent, despite being informed by the clinician that they had classified it as urgent. There is a discrepancy between what I was told and what the hospital records appear to show. I am now facing a lengthy wait until January for my appointment. I do want to acknowledge that the nurse practitioners have been excellent and consistently go the extra mile to help patients. However, my experience with the doctors at this surgery has been less positive. Over the past two years, I feel I have been going in circles without resolution. This experience has made me reflect on whether similar issues might contribute to delayed diagnoses for other patients, and whether some clinicians might not be prioritising cases with the urgency they deserve. I often wonder whether the standard of care I have received is the standard these same clinicians would expect for their own families.

Impossible to book appointments or reach by phone

The practice is difficult to access, with appointments hard to secure. When calling near closing time, the phone line appears to be managed in a way that disconnects callers, particularly around the lunch break period. Overall, I found the service disappointing and would not recommend this practice.

Can't get an appointment with a doctor

If I could give zero stars I would. This practice is disappointing, as they struggle to have medical staff available consistently throughout the week. Patients are directed to attend their GP before seeking hospital care, yet this surgery appears unable to ensure a doctor is present at all times. Recruiting additional medical professionals might help improve the quality of service provided.
