Reception staff were genuinely kind and understanding
I can genuinely say this is the best medical practice by far. The reception team are absolutely lovely, so kind and very polite and understanding. They have been wonderful with my child, providing brilliant care that I really cannot fault at all. I would 100% recommend them. I wanted healthcare professionals who would understand my child's needs and health, and these are exactly the ones I found.

I requested to speak with a member of management, but unfortunately received a similar response. The clinical care I receive is excellent and is the primary reason I continue attending this practice. However, I have experienced significant frustration with the administrative side of the service. Communication has been consistently problematic, both before and after COVID. Getting through to the surgery by phone is extremely difficult, with calls often going unanswered and wait times frequently exceeding 45 minutes, regardless of when I attempt to contact them. When visiting in person, I have observed that incoming calls appear to go unattended while reception staff are occupied with other tasks, which has been a source of considerable frustration. I believe there are organisational issues that need addressing, particularly around telephone management and staffing levels at reception. Improved communication systems and additional support for handling phone enquiries would make a meaningful difference to patient experience. While most of the reception team could benefit from improved responsiveness, I have noticed that some individual staff members do demonstrate better efficiency and helpfulness than others.

Prescription delays and poor communication frustrate
Frustrated with the service at this practice. I contacted the surgery on a Friday requesting two items and was informed they would be prepared by Monday. When I returned on Tuesday, only one item was available, with an explanation that the second item was pending with a staff member who was unavailable. I feel the practice needs to improve their organisation and communication processes.
