Patient Experience Summary

Feedback across this file reveals a deeply divided patient experience, with stark contrasts between clinical and administrative service quality. Medical professionals, including doctors and nursing staff, consistently receive praise for compassionate care, responsiveness, and clinical competence. However, reception experience presents a significant and recurring concern, with patients reporting poor courtesy, difficulty securing appointments, lengthy waiting times both on phone lines and in practice, and communication barriers. Appointment access emerges as a critical issue, with many patients describing impossible booking processes, restricted scheduling windows, and cancelled appointments without notice. Administrative responsiveness and organisation appear substantially weaker than clinical care, creating frustration that undermines otherwise positive medical interactions.

While some patients report smooth, welcoming experiences with helpful staff and efficient service delivery, the predominant pattern reflects systemic challenges in booking systems, reception courtesy, and patient communication. Several patients note that individual staff members demonstrate exceptional support, yet these isolated positive interactions cannot offset broader operational difficulties. The practice appears to struggle with managing patient volume relative to available appointment capacity, leading to extended waiting experiences and barriers to access that leave many patients feeling disrespected and unable to obtain timely care.

Terrible healthcare service that wastes your time

This medical practice is absolutely dreadful. The front desk staff are incompetent, struggle with basic communication, and display a shocking lack of courtesy and professionalism. Getting an appointment is a nightmare - you must call precisely at 8AM, and even then you'll likely be number 20 in the queue. By the time you might get through, all available slots have vanished. Their phone system is a total disaster, forcing you to navigate an automated menu for nearly two minutes before speaking to anyone. The doctors are equally terrible, rushing through consultations without genuine care or attention. I cannot stress enough how much you should steer clear of this practice.

Terrible service and unhelpful staff at bharani medical

I regretfully must advise against choosing this Bharani Medical Center for anyone. Their reception staff are incredibly unprofessional and lack basic communication skills. They behave as if they're more important than doctors, refusing to schedule appointments properly. Even when attempting to book a slot for a young child under five years old, they are completely unhelpful and unaccommodating. Forget about getting an appointment for adults - they simply won't see you at all. I cannot stress enough how strongly I discourage anyone from seeking medical services at this facility. Absolutely not recommended.

Challenging but ultimately successful medical appointment experience

Scheduling can be challenging, but persistence pays off with an eventual slot. It seems they're overbooked, with limited doctor availability relative to patient volume. The front desk staff have a reputation for being quite formidable and defensive.

Terrible service and rude receptionists ruined everything

A full year has passed, and the lack of professionalism persists. One can only hope for a staff overhaul at the reception desk. Their performance is not just subpar, but truly abysmal. Manpreet, who demonstrates zero tolerance or customer service skills, is typically the one handling incoming calls.

Neglectful service fails vulnerable elderly patient

I'm struggling with my mother's dementia or Alzheimer's, and local social services have been unhelpful, simply directing me to contact her general practitioner. Getting through to this GP's office took an extraordinary amount of time, and when I finally did, I encountered reception staff who seemed to lack basic English communication skills and showed no empathy towards elderly or vulnerable patients. The situation within their healthcare district is deeply concerning. I'm utterly disgusted and have formally notified all involved parties that I will hold them accountable if any harm comes to my mother, given their clear neglect and disregard for safeguarding protocols. It's ironic how parents are expected to care for their aging parents, yet there seems to be no reciprocal obligation for children. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this medical practice - their conduct is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous.

Compassionate care when i needed it most

I believe it's important to share a positive experience since most people only provide feedback when issues arise. I was transported to the hospital via ambulance yesterday without prior consultation with my general practitioner. Today, Aneeka reached out with a thoughtful follow-up call to check on my well-being and offer additional support, demonstrating a sincere commitment to patient care. Her proactive approach truly highlights their dedication. Thank you, Aneeka.

Worst medical experience ever waste of time

Absolutely dreadful surgical experience. Steer clear of this place. They cost me £17 in taxi fare for an appointment that was abruptly canceled a month ago, with zero communication. Their customer service is appalling. I strongly advise against registering with them because they show zero interest in assisting patients. Expect to waste nearly an hour just trying to schedule an appointment. Look for alternatives elsewhere. The management and staff are completely unprofessional and unhelpful.

Terrible healthcare experience with unprofessional doctors

I contacted this medical practice on behalf of my mother-in-law, and I'm absolutely appalled by their service. The staff's communication skills are terrible - they seem to struggle with speaking clear English. Moreover, their attitude is incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. The most frustrating part is their refusal to offer in-person consultations, limiting patients to phone calls only. This experience has been completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this clinic at all costs. If there were a way to give zero rating, I absolutely would!

Terrible practice with misleading positive reviews

I'm absolutely furious that they've cherry-picked the sole positive review to showcase while completely disregarding the overwhelming 99% of genuine negative feedback. Aside from two employees—a doctor and a midwife—this practice is an absolute mockery! They demonstrate zero concern for their patients, but I'm reluctant to switch providers because of its convenient location near my home and its proximity with small children. Instead, I'm determined to amplify my voice and raise awareness. I urge others to do the same. We are customers who are paying for services that they are fundamentally failing to deliver!

Worst medical experience ever terrible healthcare service

What more can I express about this medical practice. Utterly let down by this NHS clinic. Impossible to secure a doctor's consultation. You're forced to spend an entire morning attempting to contact reception, and when your turn finally comes, every single appointment slot is already taken, with instructions to retry the next morning. While the surgery boasts two competent physicians, scheduling a consultation with them is phenomenally challenging. I'd actually recommend enduring a 10-hour wait in the Accident & Emergency department over attempting to book a GP appointment that might take months. Fundamentally, the NHS is a complete embarrassment - we contribute substantial tax funds, yet the allocation of those resources remains a complete mystery.
