Reception staff attitude has declined significantly

Hello. I wanted to share my experience. I have found it quite challenging recently, and the service has not met my expectations. It appears that the current team operates in a manner that feels dismissive. There seems to be a lack of compassion in the interactions. I do recall the previous receptionist with fondness, as they demonstrated genuine empathy and were able to communicate in a way that felt considerate and straightforward.

The practice stands out as a particularly good surgery in the area, and I was impressed by the helpfulness of the reception staff and the quality of care provided throughout. The convenient location near public transport was also beneficial, as it allowed me to proceed directly to work following my appointment.

The team makes a clear commitment to ensuring patients receive prompt appointments or consultations, and they prioritise continuity of care by having the same clinician manage ongoing issues, which eliminates the frustration of having to retell your situation repeatedly. The healthcare professional I see consistently makes me feel genuinely heard, is willing to discuss various approaches and emerging treatment possibilities with me, and has made a meaningful difference to my health outcomes.
