Rude nurse spoils otherwise excellent medical experience

Concerning the blood test conducted on February 22nd. The originally scheduled nurse was absent, and a substitute nurse took her place. This replacement nurse was curt and discourteous. When I raised a question about the test, her immediate retort was, "Then you don't want the test!" She showed no willingness to engage or listen. Having spent my entire professional career in nursing, I comprehend the workplace stresses, yet her demeanor falls far short of appropriate patient care. In contrast, all other staff members at Birchwood have consistently been supportive and delightful.

Utterly subpar service. This isn't just a one-time occurrence, but seems to be a consistent issue. The receptionist's response was completely unhelpful, claiming she was powerless to assist. On a positive note, the doctor was excellent and professional.

Absolutely appalling care. Prescribed medication without an examination. Ended up with penicillin, a drug I've known for years causes severe allergic reactions. Bravo for such negligence.

Birchwood consistently delivers excellent care, even when facing challenges from Surrey county council's demands to accommodate patients from newly constructed housing developments without increasing staff or facility resources. Local authorities should be prohibited from approving development plans that do not require builders to establish a dedicated, self-sufficient GP practice to serve the new site's population.

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible service

Getting any kind of appointment here is a complete nightmare. They scheduled a phone consultation, but no call ever came through. When I inquired, they claimed the doctor called and left a message—except there was no message and no missed call record. Their solution? Another phone appointment in two weeks. The whole process is utterly ridiculous.

Painful experience with unfriendly nurse at clinic

I stopped by the medical office recently for a standard blood draw. While the nursing staff are typically wonderful, the nurse I encountered this time was cold, showed zero interest in making me comfortable, and ended up causing significant tissue damage that has left me with a severe bruise. Her demeanor wasn't attributable to a stressful morning, as my appointment was early at 9:00 AM. As a long-standing patient who usually has excellent experiences and would normally rate this practice at the highest level, I'm disappointed by this particular interaction.
