I'm experiencing difficulties accessing my medical records and scheduling appointments via the app. Both the application and accompanying documentation clearly indicate I should reach out to GP administration for support. I contacted receptionist Michelle T seeking assistance, but she merely reiterated the same unhelpful link suggesting I contact GP admin, offering no actual help. I'm genuinely exasperated by this complete lack of meaningful support. It makes me seriously doubt why the NHS recruits staff who appear indifferent to patient needs and consistently respond with "we can't help." It seems like these employees are merely collecting a paycheck without any genuine concern for patient care. I sincerely hope someone responsible reviews this feedback and takes concrete steps to address the situation. The reception staff member who provides zero constructive solutions should be removed from their position.

Absolutely uncooperative and when I attempted to request her name for filing a formal grievance, she abruptly terminated the call. I've been a patient at this medical office for almost a decade and a half. This particular receptionist absolutely must be removed from her position.

It's remarkable that she continues to work in her role despite what seem to be widespread complaints about her unprofessional demeanor. She appears to systematically mistreat patients who are already in vulnerable positions, displaying a level of disrespect that fundamentally contradicts the supportive nature her job should embody. This marks my second encounter with her unacceptable conduct. While I initially attributed her previous poor behavior to potentially having an isolated bad day, I now recognize her rudeness as a consistent pattern rather than a one-time occurrence. Jackie ruined my doctor's visit
The medical professionals here are commendable, but there's a significant issue with the front desk staff. Specifically, Jackie, the new receptionist, displays an unacceptable level of discourtesy. Despite my decade-long relationship with this practice and previous positive interactions with various reception staff, I've never encountered such disrespectful treatment. Her lack of basic manners is striking - a simple apology for wait times or a courteous "please" and "thank you" can make a substantial difference for patients. Her communication style is harshly direct, and I've observed what seems to be discriminatory behavior towards patients she perceives as immigrants, which is particularly ironic given her own ethnic background. Her condescending attitude appears to intentionally make vulnerable, unwell patients feel even more uncomfortable. I am certain I am not alone in my concerns, and I strongly urge management to address this unprofessional conduct. Something must be done to improve the patient experience at the reception desk!!!!

The receptionist here is hilariously unpleasant. Her attitude even bleeds through in the pre-recorded greeting, which sounds thoroughly irritated! It seems like assisting patients is the absolute last thing she wants to do 🤣. While the rest of the team appears okay, the scheduling is a nightmare - you're basically guaranteed to wait ages and end up seeing a different doctor every single time, which completely undermines any sense of continuity in your care.

Rushed and dismissive newborn checkup
My consultation with Dr Tunbridge for my newborn's checkup was absolutely dreadful. She was incredibly distant and seemed desperate to exit the room faster than she entered. Her demeanor was curt and entirely unwelcoming. Throughout the entire appointment, she showed zero interest in my well-being or any concerns I might have had about my baby. The lack of professional care was shocking. I now find myself needing to schedule another follow-up appointment, which should never have been necessary. This level of medical service is completely unacceptable! If a healthcare professional cannot be bothered to provide proper care or demonstrate genuine concern for patients, they should not be practicing medicine at all!

This medical practice is heading for closure if they don't remove their receptionist from her role. She was completely uninterested in listening, constantly interrupting me and mechanically repeating herself while I attempted to explain my circumstances. Ultimately, she abruptly terminated the call without any consideration, preventing me from communicating my essential information. I believe the doctors and other staff are likely competent, but if the surgery doesn't address the performance of the first point of contact - who is currently performing so dismally - I'm convinced they'll soon face serious administrative intervention that could result in the practice being shut down. The customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I would gladly give zero rating if possible.

I arrived at the medical center this morning with my 5-month-old for a scheduled 10:00 appointment, but the receptionist dismissively suggested I was merely seeking additional medication for my baby. Despite my early morning booking, she made me wait an entire hour with my unwell infant. When I explained I couldn't wait due to other children needing care, she rudely and condescendingly demanded I sit down. Frustrated, I left the surgery with my sick child, refusing to tolerate her disrespectful treatment. 1. What makes her so miserable in her professional role? 2. How can a medical facility permit such insensitive and aggressive staff to interact with patients? 3. What gives anyone the right to speak so disrespectfully, particularly to people of color? I genuinely pity her, as she appears to be a resentful individual trapped in a job she clearly despises.

Had two procedures at the Croydon university hospital 05/08/23. No call from my surgery explaining the results . I then ring 8/8/23 to be told their to busy to review and explain call back at 4 or wait and see on a cancellation . The receptionist says it's not a life threatening issue . But the hospital states I need to return in 2 weeks for a future procedure . That's sounds as if it's a serious issue or am I mistaken ? The issue I was referred for in the first place does not seem to be addressed . A text stating a course of antibiotics has been ordered does not cut it . But again I may be mistaken . It's a shame that after the very professional service I received from Croydon mayday , my concerns for my personal heath are not shared with my doctor's surgery
