Frustrating healthcare system leaves patient desperate

Getting a doctor's appointment has become incredibly challenging. Every time I call to discuss my stress and anxiety medication, I'm given conflicting information. They keep shifting their narrative about ordering my tablets from the GP, leaving me completely confused and unsure what to believe anymore. They really need to get their act together and provide clear, consistent guidance.

Frustrating medical service with unhelpful staff

I'm completely perplexed by Bishopgate medical, to be frank. I attempted to arrange a GP consultation via phone recently to obtain a fit note for work absence (which should be straightforward given my comprehensive medical history of mental and physical conditions), only to be met with an incredibly dismissive and discourteous receptionist who curtly stated, "you'll need to call back at 2pm for that." After spending hours unsuccessfully trying to connect, I called again today and was informed a doctor would contact me at 2:30pm. While this sounds promising, the entire experience has been bewilderingly inconsistent. The varying information from different staff members seems indicative of pure negligence. Having personally worked in customer service, I know such unprofessional communication would have resulted in serious reprimands. My message to Bishopgate staff is clear: many of you are exceptional professionals whom I deeply appreciate and respect. However, some staff members display a frustrating attitude of laziness and arrogance, seemingly unwilling to perform their responsibilities competently. Those individuals urgently need to reassess their approach and professional conduct.

Frustrating healthcare with decent doctors anyway

Typical healthcare facility challenges persist here: scheduling appointments is a nightmare, operating hours are inconvenient for working professionals (despite paying for the service), waiting rooms seem populated by those without employment seeking medical attention, the facility appears somewhat run-down since physicians are guaranteed payment, and customer support is lackluster due to lack of market competition. On a positive note, the medical staff themselves are generally pleasant and personable.
