Feedback reveals a practice significantly challenged by appointment access and booking system difficulties. Patients consistently report unresponsive phone lines, lengthy waiting times to reach staff, and a restrictive same-day appointment policy that creates frustration, particularly for those unable to call at 8:30 AM. Reception experience is mixed, with some staff praised for courtesy and helpfulness whilst others are described as dismissive or unhelpful. Prescription handling issues and delayed care have been noted across multiple reviews.
In contrast, clinical care receives considerable positive feedback. Medical professionals, nursing staff, and allied health practitioners are frequently described as compassionate, attentive, and thorough in their examinations and communication. Patients report feeling heard and reassured during consultations, with several highlighting exceptional support from specific team members. The practice's callback system and walk-in clinic for minor concerns are appreciated by those who have accessed them.
The overall picture reflects organisational dysfunction centred on access and administration rather than the quality of care delivered once patients reach clinical staff. Systemic improvements to appointment availability, phone responsiveness, and booking processes would likely address the majority of concerns raised across the feedback.

Excellent!
Convenient healthcare that saves time and stress
The practice now offers a convenient callback system, eliminating the need to endure lengthy phone wait times. Additionally, they provide a walk-in clinic for minor health concerns where you can consult with a nurse either on the same day or the next. Truly exceptional service.

Exceptional healthcare with caring and efficient staff
I've never encountered any problems with this medical practice. The reception staff consistently demonstrate politeness and provide the most supportive assistance possible. Appointments are readily available, typically on the same day or next day. The physicians and nursing staff are exceptional, always offering comprehensive and compassionate care. I frequently utilize their callback service, and I've consistently experienced wait times of no more than 10 minutes for a return call.

Frustrating phone system wastes my entire morning
Called repeatedly starting at 8:30 AM, constantly pressing buttons, only to encounter repeated busy signals and disconnections. Attempted contact using multiple devices, yet experienced the same frustrating outcome. After 35 futile tries, the situation is completely unworkable and pointless.

Compassionate care during our toughest life challenge
I am immensely grateful to every single staff member for their incredible compassion, assistance, and unwavering support that my husband and I received throughout this challenging year. Each person demonstrated remarkable dedication and went to extraordinary lengths to help us during our time of need. My deepest appreciation goes out to all of you.

Terrible service avoid at all costs
Absolutely not worth it - look elsewhere for a more reliable service. The phone wait is endless, and even after holding, you might not secure an appointment. When they do schedule you, there's a high chance they'll mess up the time in their system, leaving you frustrated and wasting your time.

Terrible service and confusing communication from staff
This practice desperately needs to hire a receptionist who actually knows what they're talking about. I called this morning (8:30am) because my daughter appears to have conjunctivitis. They instructed me to contact Community Eyecare. When I questioned whether this was correct given my daughter's age, they assured me it was fine and that I must call them as they handle all eye conditions. So I reached out to them, and lo and behold? They cannot help my daughter due to her age, and I'm told my GP must handle it instead. I've attempted to call this practice again, but they have so many incoming calls that they won't even put me on hold. This is absolutely absurd. This isn't the first time they've completely mismanaged a situation. Clearly, their staff requires significant additional training. Meanwhile, I'm now 19th in the queue... and I should be working, but I can't move or I'll lose my place/chance to speak with a (potentially incompetent) staff member. So here I sit, preparing to waste potentially half an hour just to call them again. WISH THERE WAS A ZERO-STAR RATING OPTION.

Terrible medical practice with systemic quality issues
An utterly substandard healthcare provider. While I recognize the challenging circumstances professionals face, this practice falls far below my previous experience, and those challenges are surely consistent across settings. Missed consultations, inadequate monitoring of chronic conditions, and an ineffective doctor allocation system plague this practice. I've received duplicate automated appointments for the same issue, and my partner even discovered mid-consultation that the physician had pulled up an entirely incorrect patient record! Admittedly, not everything is terrible - some staff members are genuinely competent - but fundamental, systemic quality problems persist without meaningful intervention. I've attempted formal complaint procedures, only to be met with a dismissive and thoroughly unsatisfactory response. Moreover, for Bridgnorth residents like myself, there's absolutely no alternative to this fundamentally dysfunctional medical practice.

Compassionate care from an exceptional medical team
Dr Tatton and the entire medical practice have been truly exceptional. They exemplify the very best of what the National Health Service stands for and represent.

Terrible gps service leaves patient frustrated and helpless
I've been stuck with this GPS system for a year, and it's absolutely terrible. A hospital consultant sent a letter indicating I needed an urgent GP appointment, but I don't even know who my doctor is. I received a communication from BMP instructing me to schedule an appointment. After four weeks and nine separate attempts to call, I'm still unable to secure an appointment. They repeatedly tell me to call at 8:30, but I've explained that I work and cannot use my phone during those hours. This whole situation is completely ridiculous.

Terrible medical practice with impossible appointment booking
This medical facility is absolutely terrible. I've wasted over four days trying to schedule an in-person consultation, with each phone call involving interminable hold times exceeding 15 minutes. If you're seeking healthcare, steer clear of this practice at all costs.

Terrible medical phone service with endless frustration
Deeply let down by their sluggish and needlessly complex phone support. The staff proved to be remarkably unhelpful, consistently brushing off concerns and providing conflicting guidance that only added to the mounting frustration, especially when dealing with critical medical matters. Securing an appointment feels like an exercise in futility, with waiting times stretching so far into the future that your health concerns either deteriorate significantly or miraculously resolve on their own. My advice: seek alternatives.

Frustrating booking but great urgent care service
Absurd appointment scheduling: Stuck at #7 after 40 minutes, impossible to book online or schedule non-urgent visits, ultimately abandoning attempts to get partner's ear cleaning (forced to seek private clinic). Previous medical practice in Berkshire never presented such challenges. Following my actual consultation (ironically with an inappropriate staff member), I've adjusted my initial assessment due to exceptional in-person service. The urgent care professional was outstanding, thoroughly reviewing my medical background, attentively hearing my current concerns, and then directing me to the appropriate service.

Frustrating customer service and booking nightmare
Is scheduling even possible here? Getting an appointment seems like an exercise in pure frustration. Every time I try to set something up, I hit a wall of bureaucratic nonsense that makes the entire process incredibly difficult.

Every time I've required assistance, I've been promptly attended to and received exceptional care. I'm uncertain about the basis for some of these one-star ratings, as my personal experience has been truly excellent.

Dangerous delay puts elderly patient at serious risk
My 92-year-old mother, residing in an upstairs apartment with balance challenges, was asked by her doctor to provide a urine sample on a Thursday to rule out an infection potentially causing her mobility issues. From the following Tuesday, we attempted to contact the Bridgnorth medical practice 9 times over 3 days to obtain the results. During 8 calls, the waiting queue exceeded 15 minutes, with one instance reaching 22 minutes. On the sole occasion I successfully connected after nearly 20 minutes, with only 7 people ahead in the queue, I was informed they had the results but required a doctor's review. However, the assigned physician was on vacation and would return the next day. When I emphasized the potential fatal risk of a urine infection causing a staircase fall, I requested an alternative doctor review, but was curtly told they were too busy. I also asked if the reviewing doctor could call me the following morning, only to be bluntly refused. Their customer service was appallingly dismissive. Coincidentally, my mother accidentally triggered her personal alarm, resulting in her emergency transfer to a care home due to being classified as highly vulnerable if left alone. Had she not pressed the alarm, she would have remained at home, continuously at risk of a serious accident or potentially fatal consequences from an untreated infection.
