Frustrating medical journey with poor communication

The front desk staff were surprisingly supportive. However, the doctor conveniently "overlooked" my referral despite my repeated inquiries. I was left to pursue my own referral, and to date, I still haven't secured a specialist appointment. If the doctor had simply performed his duties correctly, I might have seen improvement by now. It took months of persistence and a formal complaint before the referral was sent, only to be denied due to insufficient medical details. Predictably, the practice didn't volunteer this information - I had to dig it out myself. Such a lack of professionalism is deeply concerning; we're talking about human health, not some casual online transaction.

Terrible service and medical negligence at this surgery

I've been a patient at this medical practice for over three years, and my experience has been consistently frustrating. The problems began with poor guidance from the GP about my hormone replacement therapy, and continued with their failure to inform me about my anaemia, which should have prompted iron supplement recommendations much earlier. Despite advertising extended hours until 6:30 PM, I've found their doors closed before the stated time. The final breaking point came when the GP once again neglected to communicate with me about medication changes, leaving me to chase down critical information myself. Consequently, I am definitively planning to transfer to a different surgery.

Frustrating healthcare experience for elderly patient

I called the medical practice this morning to discuss medication side effects, as recommended by a pharmacist nearby. However, I was told I needed to navigate through administrative hurdles because my previous surgery hadn't removed me from their system. The receptionist then insisted I consult an in-house pharmacist, which is precisely what I was attempting to do. This is now the third medical practice in Fleetwood I've encountered, and they're all equally frustrating. How can they expect someone my age, who is 90, or someone with learning difficulties, to manage complex medical patches? If I experience serious medication reactions, my solicitor will absolutely have grounds to take legal action against this surgery, just as he did with my previous medical provider.

Terrible service and disrespectful staff at reception

The front desk staff's demeanor is utterly appalling. I consistently communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner, yet they respond with an incredibly offensive and dismissive attitude. Their behavior is extremely discourteous and brusque. The prescription counter staff are equally unpleasant and abrupt. They continually emphasize the importance of respecting them, but seem oblivious to the fact that respect should be mutual. The way one communicates with others fundamentally influences the treatment they receive in return. If you want to be treated with dignity, you must first extend that same courtesy to others. As a result of these interactions, I am transferring my entire family's medical care to a different practice.

Terrible medical care that left me frustrated

Struggling with allergic symptoms. Endured lengthy wait for a return call. When they finally reached me, I was away from home, and because I couldn't instantly recite the precise chemical composition of my over-the-counter hayfever eye drops (which I was forced to purchase myself after their refusal to prescribe) the doctor curtly terminated the conversation and promised to reconnect, then abruptly ended the call. Five days have passed, and I'm still waiting for that promised callback. I've encountered a extensive history of discriminatory, uninformed, and contemptuous treatment from this medical practice, undoubtedly the most appalling healthcare provider I've ever encountered.

Worst medical care ever terrible service nightmare

It's astonishing that this establishment continues to operate under the guise of a medical practice! My daughter requires a non-urgent surgical procedure that needs to be coordinated through a doctor's referral. Previously, this process was straightforward before the pandemic. However, since COVID-19, securing any appointment has become virtually impossible. They've eliminated routine consultations and now only provide same-day emergency slots, and even then, you're extremely fortunate to get through at 8am. Over the past year, after finally managing to call at 8:20, I was repeatedly informed that no appointments were available and was instructed to attempt again the following day!!!!! Their negligence is reaching a critical point where they are fundamentally breaching their professional responsibilities and, in my view, should have their license to operate revoked immediately!!!!
