Unprofessional medical practice with terrible service

I feel compelled to share my experience with this medical practice and how they treat their patients. I had a 9am appointment, and the receptionist informed me that Doctor Kauser was delayed due to a motorway accident. I was understanding and waited, eventually being seen at 9:50am. Doctor Kauser then scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next week at 9am. Upon arriving at 8:55am, I found myself waiting again. By 9:15am, I asked the receptionist if Doctor Kauser had arrived, only to be told she hadn't even signed in. The receptionist then suggested the doctor would call me instead of seeing me in person because she wasn't at work, which infuriated me, causing me to leave. Two hours later, when I called back, I was informed the doctor was with patients. As the first appointment of the day, I questioned why I wasn't contacted immediately. When I attempted to lodge a complaint and speak with the practice manager, I was redirected to a receptionist who falsely claimed to be the manager. Doctor Kauser then called me with an aggressive attitude. When I questioned her about disrupting my appointments two weeks in a row, she defensively stated she lives in Birmingham. I retorted that if she has an appointment, she should leave earlier to arrive on time - to which she responded that I shouldn't question her because she's a doctor. A doctor supposedly has a duty of care to their patients. Yet apparently doesn't feel obligated to arrive at work on time Or even adhere to scheduled appointment times. Receptionists lie about their roles. Doctors believe they're above reproach? Absolutely unacceptable.

Worst medical practice ever avoid at all costs

The reception staff demonstrate nothing but disrespect and unprofessional behavior, failing to clarify their "emergency appointment" process or explain their arbitrary guidelines that deviate from official government recommendations. It appears one must be on the brink of self-harm to secure any appointment, and even then, you're limited to a brief phone consultation where the staff remain unhelpful and dismissive. They consistently manipulate their own protocols and generate endless excuses. For two weeks, I've called daily, only to find a single doctor available because the other is perpetually "ill". Their constant justifications and the profound level of disregard they display is absolutely appalling. This surgery is a complete waste of time, where patients are treated with utter contempt and total indifference. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this practice unless they wish to be completely devalued and ignored.

Mental health isn't being treated with the urgency it deserves by this facility. They consistently dismiss the importance of psychological well-being and refuse to provide proper medical access. Whenever I contact them, there's always a physician absent, leaving only emergency slots open. Their attitude clearly demonstrates they don't consider mental health a critical concern or a genuine medical emergency.

Shocking medical practice denies basic patient support

When someone is unable to work due to illness, it's standard procedure to get a medical certificate from their general practitioner. I phoned the medical practice, only to be informed by the receptionist that they would not allow me to see a doctor for the purpose of obtaining a fit note, claiming they don't provide such documentation. I was absolutely stunned by this response, and I'm relieved that all telephone conversations are documented, as I was clearly being told an outright falsehood.

Terrible service doctors fail patient urgent care needed

3 weeks struggling to book a doctor's appointment, and when I finally see one, he simply suggests ibuprofen. As an asthmatic, this medication nearly killed me previously. My pre-existing blood tests were fine, and my scan showed nothing, yet my foot is swelling dramatically, now resembling a balloon. I had to visit a walk-in centre to request an urgent hospital referral, but still nothing has happened. This medical practice has seriously deteriorated. While the nursing staff remain excellent and beyond criticism, the doctors are completely unreachable. Attempting to phone at 8am results in being told all doctors are booked, with instructions to try again tomorrow - a cycle that repeats endlessly. It's no surprise the walk-in centre is overcrowded when patients cannot access basic medical consultations. I'm deeply disappointed, having transferred from one substandard practice to another that's following the same disappointing trajectory. It's truly disheartening that I cannot get proper attention for such a significant medical concern as my rapidly expanding foot.

Terrible doctors failed my sick toddler completely

Would give zero stars if possible!! My two-year-old daughter went to the doctors with my partner on Tuesday, March 24th, 2021, because she had been unwell for a few days. During the examination, her ears, throat, and temperature were checked, all of which appeared normal with nothing to cause concern. The doctor suggested it was just a cold, which initially seemed reasonable. However, we experienced a terrible night with constant disruption - she was unsettled, upset, and couldn't sleep. The following morning, she remained drowsy, distressed, and inconsolable. Eventually, we took her to Blackpool Victoria hospital, where they discovered severe ear infections in both ears. The hospital doctor was puzzled why these infections weren't identified during the previous day's visit to Broadway Medical Centre, noting they couldn't have developed overnight. Essentially, if you want to be dismissed and ignored, go to Broadway Medical Centre. But if you actually want genuine medical care, seek help elsewhere. They seem more concerned with their monthly paycheck than patient health. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, NHS RESOURCES, AND MEDICAL SPACES.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare

The reception team displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Their demeanor was incredibly unhelpful and insensitive, especially when interacting with vulnerable individuals. I was redirected to my general practitioner for a urine test, only to be told by my GP that I should return to the walk-in center. It seems the staff are simply too lazy to perform a basic urinalysis. Their conduct is thoroughly unacceptable, and based on previous feedback, it's evident that no efforts have been made to address these ongoing issues.
