I've reluctantly switched general practitioners after being with this clinic my entire life. Booking an appointment has become incredibly challenging. Phone calls are redirected to their online system, and the online system sends you back to phone support. There's an extremely narrow timeframe in the morning where you might secure an appointment, but even then, the waiting times are ridiculous. As if that weren't frustrating enough, they consistently mess up my prescription every single month. Despite my careful and timely prescription requests, they repeatedly fail to accurately process and provide the correct medication. This level of service is completely unacceptable and requires immediate improvement.

I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this medical practice is. The phone wait time is an excruciating 35 minutes minimum, and their online services are completely non-functional. The receptionists act as self-appointed gatekeepers, deciding arbitrarily who deserves medical attention within a two-week window, if at all. They are inflexible about timing - calling even slightly before 11am will get you nowhere if they deem your issue inconvenient. Mental health concerns are particularly poorly handled, with dismissive offers of a crisis number and a distant appointment. Children's health symptoms are seemingly irrelevant to them. Their pre-recorded message about respecting staff is laughably hypocritical, as no reciprocal respect is offered to patients. If you somehow manage to see a competent doctor, consider yourself lucky. An incorrect diagnosis from the wrong physician could potentially land you in hospital, where medical staff will spend a week correcting the initial practice's mistakes - keeping you away from your family. Without doubt, this is the absolute worst medical practice in Stoke.

Upon attempting to schedule an appointment, you're greeted by an automated message suggesting online booking due to overwhelmed phone lines. Why can't standard appointments be arranged electronically? As full-time workers, spending over three-quarters of an hour on hold is simply not feasible or practical.

The absolute worst medical practice imaginable! I've been dealing with a painful groin lump for a quarter of a year, and today I took time off my remote job to secure an urgent consultation, only to be told to call back at 11am to schedule a routine appointment two weeks from now. The reception staff are incredibly incompetent and seem completely unqualified. I am definitively switching healthcare providers at the earliest opportunity. Their level of unprofessionalism is shocking and dangerous - I genuinely believe they could cause serious harm or potentially have already done so.
