Terrible medical care that left me feeling unheard

This medical centre is an absolute disaster. The general practitioners display zero compassion and consistently challenge my statements, making me feel completely unheard during consultations. They rely entirely on computer systems for diagnosis instead of applying their professional expertise. The entire facility is laughably incompetent and unprofessional. Their sole apparent skill is randomly dispensing medication without conducting thorough examinations. Utterly ABSURD.

Their approach has consistently been one of attentive listening and genuine commitment to addressing my health concerns. Because of their dedicated care, I've successfully navigated complex medical challenges, including critical diagnoses, urgent cancer treatment pathways, and necessary surgical interventions. Even amid their hectic schedules, they've consistently prioritized communication, often reaching out to me on the same day as significant consultant meetings to thoroughly explain test outcomes. Despite the difficulty in securing appointments, I have absolutely no criticism of their exceptional medical practice.

Disappointing medical care at local practice

I would strongly recommend steering clear of this medical practice if you're dealing with a critical health issue. On multiple occasions, I've been poorly treated, with my now chronic and severe condition dismissed as mere stress, and told to simply unwind. I've experienced missed appointments after arriving, and forgotten referrals, among other administrative failures. The saving grace is two exceptional doctors who have been genuinely compassionate and have sincerely apologized for the substandard treatment I've encountered from their colleagues - which is precisely why I've reluctantly awarded two stars. While I acknowledge that being located in central Liverpool likely means high patient volume, the quality of care provided is unquestionably insufficient and falls far below acceptable medical standards.

Incompetent doctors failed to diagnose my skin issue

After a decade of struggling, medical professionals have failed to pinpoint the cause of my persistent skin issue. I've gone through multiple online medical consultations and been prescribed various topical treatments, all of which proved ineffective. The most recent cream prescribed actually exacerbated my condition, causing painful burning and further skin damage. What's particularly alarming is that the prescribing physician appeared to rely on Google searches to determine my medication. I've submitted a formal complaint, but have received no acknowledgment or resolution. I absolutely cannot endorse this experience.

Terrible service nearly cost me my life

If I could assign a rating lower than zero, I would. I developed a serious allergic reaction on my right arm - red, swollen, painful, and hot, which turned out to be Cellulitis! When I called on August 7th in the morning, the receptionist only focused on my supposedly outdated address, insisting I needed to update it to continue receiving care. I explained that I had already done this online last year, but she claimed the system information was incorrect and that I must personally visit the GP to amend it. She provided no appointment and simply directed me to complete an online consultation, which I had already done twice without success, with the website repeatedly referring me back to the GP. I went to Boots, thinking it was an allergy, and purchased some hay fever tablets, but they did nothing to reduce the swelling. By the second day, I was running a fever, and my muscles, lymph nodes, and bones were so stiff that I could barely move my right arm. Fortunately, I recalled registering with another GP when I first moved to Liverpool, despite not having been with them for years. I called them Tuesday morning, and unlike the previous practice, they didn't mention address issues or online consultations. Instead, they immediately booked me an appointment at 11am. The GP confirmed I had Cellulitis and warned it was life-threatening. I was utterly disappointed that the Marybone reception had been more concerned with my address than my potentially critical medical condition.

Frustrating phone service with useless e consultation system

Getting in touch with them is a frustrating ordeal, consuming nearly two minutes just to be placed in a waiting line. Their staff immediately interrogate about e-consultations, which are clearly dysfunctional. These digital consultation systems are completely ineffective, and the company should simply abandon promoting something so patently useless.

this establishment is absolutely the most terrible I've encountered Dr. Lisa Drayton demonstrates inarguable professional incompetence she abruptly dismissed me from her office due to another patient waiting, preventing me from fully expressing my medical concerns, with the entire consultation lasting a mere 5 minutes! My entire appointment was compressed into just 5 minutes!!!!

The front desk personnel are downright despicable. They were incredibly unsupportive and quite cruel when I was experiencing extreme emotional turmoil, which triggered a panic attack, and then they had the audacity to tell me to compose myself and stop weeping. My experience with this GP has been nothing short of a nightmare, marking possibly the lowest point in my life. Despite numerous attempts to secure a face-to-face consultation, when I finally managed to get one, my health concerns were completely dismissed. For over a year, I've been struggling with debilitating migraines that have caused constant vomiting and disrupted my work life, yet all I receive are impersonal email responses, never even a phone call. When I recently raised another health issue, it became clear that unless I precisely specify what test I need, they show no initiative in investigating the root cause. The message is clear: self-diagnose and force them to listen. As a result, I'm in the process of changing my GP. The final straw was during an appointment for an unrelated matter, where I attempted to discuss my ongoing migraine problems. The doctors bluntly stated, "we don't have time for that today" - a shocking red flag that underscores their complete lack of patient care and medical professionalism.

Steer clear of this medical practice, and I cannot stress this enough. While the nursing and front desk personnel are delightful, the physician I encountered was absolutely horrendous! Incredibly condescending and unprofessional. After years of medical tests since my twenties and working with compassionate healthcare providers who genuinely explained my health conditions, switching locations led me to this terrible doctor (a male) who evidently hadn't even bothered to review my medical history. His dismissive attitude was the final straw. Changing healthcare providers was unquestionably the best choice I've made.
