The medical practice's service is absolutely abysmal. My partner has been waiting an excessive five months just for a basic email response. Whenever we telephone, they claim no emails have been received, which is clearly false since we have the correct email address and proof of multiple sent messages. The phone wait times are consistently around 2 hours, and after enduring this lengthy wait, calls frequently drop. This frustrating experience happened to me twice within just two days. Repeat prescription requests can drag on for up to two weeks, and when staff at the reception are questioned about the delay, they simply state the doctor is busy and patients must wait until he decides to process them. Utterly unprofessional. The current reception team is arguably the most incompetent I've ever encountered at this medical practice. I've been left in a situation where I'm without critical medication. Securing an appointment is incredibly challenging. Ironically, when you finally manage to see a doctor, they are generally competent. However, the subpar performance and poor attitude of the reception staff significantly contribute to the ongoing operational issues facing this surgery.

Terrible medical service beyond all human expectations

Completely catastrophic medical practice experience this morning right when they opened. Called at 8, got shuffled between positions, had the call abruptly terminated. Arrived to find a massive queue of over 40 people, only to be informed no appointments available for my 4-year-old son. This follows last week's rejection of an appointment for the same child due to unavailable slots. Essentially impossible to secure any medical consultation for weeks. The receptionists are another nightmare entirely - idle chit-chatting while phones ring unanswered, treating patients with condescending attitudes as if they're superior medical authorities. Absolutely reprehensible service. Anyone considering joining this practice should steer clear. We're definitely switching providers. If I could award negative ratings, I'd give them -100 stars, and that wouldn't even capture the extent of their appalling service. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Spent an exhausting 75 minutes on hold before finally connecting, requesting my hospital x-ray report for my knee arthritis. Upon collecting the envelope and reviewing its contents at home, I discovered the document discussed my left testicle - completely unrelated to my knee condition. These staff are utterly incompetent! I specifically requested knee documentation. Additionally, I was told my prescription would be ready Monday, but when I contacted Lewis pharmacy in Bargoed, they confirmed receiving it on Friday. Are these receptionists operating in some alternate reality? Their level of unprofessionalism is staggering. They might as well shut down the entire facility. The service is absolutely appalling and unacceptable.

Incompetent staff destroyed my medical communication

Utterly disastrous medical procedure, I've authorized my mother to communicate on my behalf and on behalf of my children, as I'm battling multiple sclerosis and following a severe relapse, I've lost my ability to speak. Now they're claiming they have no documented proof that the authorization was submitted to the medical office 3 years ago and personally delivered to the front desk staff, which had been perfectly acceptable until this month. 🤔 I firmly believe they are completely incompetent and should be terminated, with new reception staff hired who actually possess genuine customer service abilities and demonstrate a real commitment to their work.

Incompetent medical staff fail my son's care needs

Absolutely dreadful medical service! My son depends on ongoing medication, and the surgery completely disregarded his consultant's recommendation to provide a three-month prescription supply. Instead, they insisted I must request medication on a monthly basis. They've consistently refused to set up automatic repeat prescriptions or communicate directly with the pharmacy, even though this was explicitly advised by his specialist. For the past half-year, every single monthly prescription request I've submitted - always 17 days in advance - has been ignored. When I contact them to follow up, they essentially accuse me of fabricating the truth and dismiss my legitimate concerns.
