I recently registered with this surgery after experiencing difficulties with my previous healthcare provider, and I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. The clinician I see is so helpful and will make time to contact me whenever I have needed to speak with them. Impossible to reach by phone, unhelpful online
I have experienced significant difficulties contacting this practice by telephone. On one occasion, I made numerous attempts to reach them throughout the day without success. The practice appears to have persistent issues with phone accessibility, making it extremely challenging to get through to anyone. I have found it very difficult to obtain appointments, even during periods when I have been unwell or in discomfort. When I eventually managed to communicate with the practice through their online system, the response time was considerably longer than I would have expected. The interaction felt dismissive rather than supportive. Following a remote consultation, I felt that my concern was not properly addressed, and my symptoms were not accurately assessed. This resulted in continued discomfort and frustration on my part. Overall, I have found the service provided to be unsatisfactory and feel that the practice's responsiveness and clinical approach require significant improvement.

Online requests answered quickly but lacking proper consultations
The new online request form works really well! I've submitted numerous requests and they typically receive responses within a few hours. However, I'm concerned that in the majority of cases, I'm receiving medication recommendations without having a consultation or speaking to anyone directly. This raises some concerns about patient safety protocols. If this happens for minor matters, I wonder what the approach might be for more serious health concerns. My children have received diagnoses for various conditions entirely through telephone conversations without in-person assessments. It feels like there's a lack of thorough patient care in some instances, which has affected my confidence in the practice overall.

Helpful staff who manage repeat prescriptions well
I appreciate the practice's support with managing my prescriptions to ensure continuity of care. The team demonstrates commitment to looking after all patients. I feel that staff should not have to tolerate difficult behaviour, and those who behave inappropriately should perhaps be removed from the patient list. This applies across all team members. I tend to avoid attending appointments when possible.
