Impossible to reach by phone for appointments

This practice has been disappointing. I waited several months for a referral letter, and when I followed up by phone, I was informed it had not been processed. There are ongoing difficulties with the appointment booking system. I'm regularly advised to call at 8am, but I consistently struggle to get through. I've experienced numerous failed attempts to reach reception by phone. If you're seeking medical care but are prepared for a frustrating and disappointing experience, this practice may not meet your expectations.

They demonstrate a genuine commitment to going the extra mile, maintaining their professionalism regardless of how they're treated by patients. Phone lines constantly impossible to reach

This practice is extremely disappointing and I would rate it far below the lowest possible score. I have attempted to make contact numerous times since early morning without receiving any response. I have raised concerns about accessibility issues previously and remain waiting for a callback from management, which was promised many months ago. The overall experience with this surgery has been deeply frustrating and falls well short of acceptable standards.

Dismissed my symptoms, urgent care proved me right

I attended my local practice and described symptoms to the clinician, who disagreed with my self-diagnosis and suggested I contact my dentist instead. I subsequently visited an urgent care centre where my initial concern was confirmed. I feel the practice fell short of my expectations in this instance and have serious concerns about the quality of care provided.

Phone booking was straightforward and staff listened well

An excellent medical centre with wonderful service both over the phone and when visiting in person - I cannot speak highly enough of the support provided! I am sharing this feedback on behalf of my family members, who received exceptional support and were treated with great courtesy and care by the clinical staff, who listened attentively throughout their appointments.

Dismissive approach left me deeply concerned

I'm genuinely concerned about the level of care provided at this practice. The thought that people's wellbeing depends on this service is deeply troubling. When I witnessed what appeared to be a serious medical situation being handled with what seemed like inadequate advice, it was alarming. I do want to acknowledge that there was one staff member who demonstrated genuine care and made a positive difference in their approach to patient support.

Reception staff were prompt and helpful

Excellent reception, very prompt and professional. I was able to see my doctor quickly, and they were extremely professional. Another member of the clinical team was also very prompt in ensuring I was well looked after, as was a member of the nursing staff. I cannot say enough good things about this surgery. Thank you.

Reception staff didn't recognise a medical emergency

Have been registered with this practice since I was nine, having transferred from a previous centre when my original doctor retired. It was once a good surgery but has since become disappointing. I have a chronic condition requiring ongoing management and my wife was upset when I was asked to leave an appointment due to my behaviour. I was experiencing a medical episode which went unrecognised, and I was subsequently spoken to about my conduct. It is unfortunate that a practice which was once reliable has declined, with staff interactions that I have found to be dismissive and lacking in understanding.

Due to the wait, I contacted an alternative healthcare service for guidance and received pain relief advice from them. Management changes left the practice struggling

This practice was disappointing for me. When I first registered several years ago, there were a couple of clinicians whose care I valued highly. Following their departure, I found the standard of service declined noticeably. The subsequent management changes did not improve matters in my view.
