Couldn't get through on the phone line

Have been attempting to reach the practice multiple times throughout the morning without success. The telephone lines appear to be consistently unavailable. The reception service requires significant improvement.

Reception staff were abrupt and dismissive

I found the reception staff to be rather curt and dismissive. The clinical team's approach also left me wanting – while they seemed to have some concern, it came across as lacking warmth and empathy. I believe the whole team would benefit from developing their interpersonal skills and making patients feel more valued. On several occasions, I felt overlooked and unheard, and I ended calls feeling upset and in greater distress than before. I was quite let down by the overall tone and manner in which I was addressed throughout my interactions.

No issue is too significant that they won't dismiss your concerns. The receptionist displays an unhelpful and dismissive manner when dealing with patients.

Excellent!

Phlebotomists made blood tests feel manageable

This is the best medical practice I have attended. The clinician here is genuinely lovely and the phlebotomy team are exceptional. Drawing blood from me has always been difficult, and I have had some unpleasant experiences elsewhere, but the staff members here are excellent at what they do and demonstrate both care and professionalism throughout.

Reception staff helpful and put you at ease

I attended this practice for a surgical procedure and was seen by a clinician. The surgery and waiting area were excellent, and the reception staff were attentive and welcoming. However, the most important aspect was feeling at ease during the appointment. I was reassured to find that the clinician did not employ the approach of presenting a tray of instruments covered by a sheet, only to dramatically reveal an intimidating array of sharp implements. Instead, I was able to relax on the treatment bed while we had a pleasant conversation. The clinician gave me gentle warnings such as "you might feel a scratch", and the procedure was completed within about ten minutes. The entire experience was straightforward, approachable, and conducted with professionalism throughout.
