Patient Experience Summary

Feedback across this file reveals a practice marked by significant inconsistency in service quality. Reception experience emerges as a dominant concern, with many patients reporting discourteous and unhelpful staff behaviour, lengthy phone wait times, and difficulties securing appointments. Prescription management and communication between the practice and pharmacies present recurring problems, with patients describing lost documents, delayed processing, and organisational failures. Appointment access remains challenging, with waits of one to two weeks commonly reported, and some patients unable to reach the practice by phone. However, several individual staff members receive consistent praise for exceptional professionalism and compassion, suggesting capability exists within the practice to deliver supportive care.

The medical professionals themselves receive mixed assessments. Some doctors are highlighted for their clinical competence and empathetic approach, whilst others are described as rushed or disengaged. A small number of reception staff stand out as genuinely welcoming and supportive, contrasting sharply with broader complaints about the reception experience. This variation indicates that service quality depends significantly on which staff member a patient encounters, rather than reflecting consistent practice-wide standards.

Patients express frustration with the overall organisation and responsiveness of the practice. Issues include conflicting information between different locations, inflexible policies, and apparent gatekeeping of medical consultations based on reception staff assessment rather than clinical need. Several patients report having to seek care elsewhere due to access difficulties, whilst others note the practice is their only local option, leaving them without alternatives despite their concerns.

Slow Lab Test Left Me Solving My Own Mystery

I waited 10 days to receive my blood test results, and during that prolonged period, I managed to diagnose my own medical issue independently.

Rude Staff Killed My Whole Booking Experience

Staff at the front desk displayed a complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. Their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, making the entire check-in process uncomfortable and frustrating. I was thoroughly disappointed by the poor reception and lack of courtesy shown by the employees responsible for creating a welcoming first impression.

Dr Naseem saved my terrible clinic visit

The employees at this place lack professionalism, consistently displaying discourteous attitudes. They schedule appointments weeks out and prevent direct communication with the general practitioner. However, Dr. Naseem stands out as an exceptional healthcare provider—warm, approachable, and genuinely supportive!

Unhelpful Staff Made My Medication Urgent

I called to inquire about the registration timeline and was told it would take "months," which is completely unhelpful given my critical need for medication. The representative dismissed my concerns and told me to call back early the next morning. The customer service was appallingly unprofessional and inconsiderate. When I visited in person, a staff member displayed pure laziness by disregarding the established one-way system, instead aggressively commanding me to move while I was waiting in line. Upon attempting to leave, the staff preemptively demanded I use a different exit before I had even started moving. The entire experience was marked by consistently disrespectful and unacceptable conduct.

Prescription Lost, Referrals Missed, Patience Tested

Completely disorganized. Throughout my 12-month experience with this medical practice, they repeatedly misplaced critical documents: a prescription meant for pharmacy delivery, an ultrasound referral, and somehow 'never received' an examination referral from the emergency department. Utterly let down. While one receptionist stands out as genuinely supportive during challenging moments, another consistently displays a hostile and unhelpful attitude. The medical staff's quality is wildly inconsistent, ranging from compassionate and empathetic to blatantly sexist and poorly informed. Each interaction feels like a gamble.

Traumatizing Encounter with Dr. Singh at Grangetown Surgery

Appalling conduct by Dr. GP Singh at the Grangetown medical center. Completely unacceptable behavior with a dismissive attitude while mistreating me. I filed an official complaint, and the practice acknowledged his actions but claimed they were 'unintentional', yet plan to use my case as a training example of 'inappropriate GP conduct'?! This practice violated my trust, hindered my healing process, and showed absolutely no accountability. Steer clear and find a different healthcare provider in the vicinity.
