What an outstanding medical procedure. Notwithstanding the current systemic pressures confronting the National Health Service, this particular medical team has preserved an exceptional level of patient care. Their approach is welcoming, understanding, and deeply empathetic. Dave, the on-location paramedic, is truly remarkable when you need immediate medical assistance on short notice - his presence provides crucial support during times when general practitioners are fully scheduled. The facility itself is well-designed and welcoming, with consistently convenient parking arrangements. I cannot praise this service enough.

Terrible service from carnon downs medical practice

Completely useless service. 111 advised me to contact this medical practice while traveling, having determined I required medical attention. They promised to send a referral within minutes. However, the Carnon Downs receptionist flatly refused and instructed me to contact my home GP, located four hours away, for a telephone consultation. My own GP confirmed this was incorrect, as 111 had specifically recommended an in-person examination. Upon calling Carnon Downs again, I encountered an extremely discourteous senior receptionist who eventually suggested I could register as a temporary patient and then return home for a phone appointment. They completely failed to understand the situation. The entire experience was utterly deplorable - if a zero-star rating were possible, I would have selected it without hesitation!

Disappointing decline from once great medical practice

I've been a patient at this practice for four decades, back when Drs Stephens and Jackson were in charge, and it used to be exceptional. Now, I don't even know who my current doctor is. The prescription process has become incredibly inconvenient - you can no longer order repeats by phone and must physically drop a slip in a box. Since I live two miles away, I simply don't have the time for these unnecessary trips. The quality of service has deteriorated dramatically, and I'm seriously contemplating finding a new medical practice.

Unable to secure an in-person medical consultation, restricted to phone-only communication, which inherently limits the ability to conduct a proper physical examination. Additionally, the lack of extended evening clinic hours prevents doctors from accommodating more patients effectively.
