Reception staff made us feel welcome

We relocated to the area approximately a year ago and have been quite satisfied with our experience. The front desk team consistently demonstrate helpfulness and courtesy. Appointments are typically available either the same day or shortly thereafter. We have been impressed by the professional approach and attentive care provided by the clinical staff.

Reception staff dismissive when reporting serious injury

I switched to a different practice after having several unsatisfactory experiences at this surgery, particularly with one clinician. During a visit regarding a significant arm injury, I felt dismissed and judged rather than supported, with comments made about my living situation that seemed irrelevant to my medical needs at the time when I was managing work absence. Subsequently, I required surgical intervention for my arm. The manner in which I was treated during that appointment, given that I was genuinely unwell, fell short of the standard of care I would have expected. The interaction lacked the professionalism I believe should be present in healthcare settings.

The experience was very disappointing. There were concerns about the accuracy of information provided, and the overall interaction felt unwelcoming. The staff did not come across as helpful or supportive during the visit.

Staff took time to explain everything thoroughly

I accompanied someone to their medical appointments for testing. They mentioned they had never previously received such comprehensive information regarding their health status, prescribed medications, and planned investigations and care. They expressed considerable satisfaction with all the healthcare professionals they interacted with. The practice demonstrates a warm and welcoming atmosphere with notably attentive staff.

Booking price didn't match final bill

This is a great surgery with lovely staff, however, I would not recommend having your occupational health medical assessment completed here. When I called to arrange the appointment, I was quoted one price, but was then asked to pay a significantly higher amount at the time of the visit. Additionally, I was not informed beforehand that a particular element of the assessment would need to be carried out elsewhere, which resulted in me having to pay an additional fee at another healthcare provider to complete the necessary paperwork. It was a valuable learning experience!
