Quick phone access to prescription support

This practice deserves every one of those 5 stars. I rang the surgery and within minutes I was able to speak to a clinician, who prescribed me antibiotics. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy promptly and I was able to obtain my medication very quickly. I felt the response was excellent and made a real difference to my situation. My previous medical practice would not have provided the same level of service. The team here are wonderful and I'm very grateful for their help. Thank you all.

I switched to this practice after having a frustrating experience elsewhere, and the difference has been remarkable. Every team member here has demonstrated exceptional efficiency, compassion, helpfulness and courtesy. My care has been comprehensive, whether I've needed urgent appointments outside standard hours, prompt hospital referrals, prescription management, diagnostic testing or in-person consultations with clinical staff. Results communication needs urgent improvement

I have been waiting for six weeks to receive results from two separate blood tests, but have not heard anything back. I received one missed call, and while I have received other calls from what appeared to be the practice, my phone records indicate these were not legitimate calls from the surgery. The lack of communication regarding my test results has been disappointing, especially as this practice has provided good service to me in the past.

Impossible to get an appointment here

I would not recommend this practice. The service has been quite poor. I have been unable to secure an appointment for nearly two months. I attempt to book regularly, but calls often go unanswered and I am frequently put on hold. On one occasion when my call was answered, I was told my issue was not considered urgent and the call was ended. The overall experience has been unsatisfactory and I would suggest looking elsewhere for your healthcare needs.

Staff listens and appointments come through quickly

I've been a patient at this practice since it first opened and was also a patient before that under the previous ownership. I have consistently found the clinical and reception staff to be absolutely excellent. My regular doctor is particularly knowledgeable about my medical background, takes time to listen carefully, and maintains a non-judgmental approach. However, all the other doctors at the practice are equally skilled. The nursing team are also fantastic. I would highly recommend this practice. Appointments with a doctor are readily available, typically on the same day or the next day at most. Five stars from me.

Inconsistent information about prescription procedures

This practice appears to be experiencing some difficulties. During a recent visit, I received conflicting information about prescription procedures from different staff members. I was given one set of instructions by one person and told something entirely different by another. This inconsistency is frustrating and unhelpful. The practice should ensure all staff are providing the same guidance to patients, or alternatively display clear information at reception about how their processes work. The lack of clarity and coordination has left me disappointed with the service.

Reception team friendly and genuinely helpful

I have been attending this practice for approximately a year and I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Every encounter I have had, whether with the front desk staff, clinical nurses, or doctors, has been remarkably positive. The front desk team are consistently pleasant and supportive when speaking on the phone and make genuine efforts to assist patients. They greet you warmly when you visit in person. The clinical nurses I have consulted with have been excellent. They demonstrate genuine compassion and attentiveness, and appointments never feel hurried. They provide thorough and considerate care. The doctors have shown the same level of professionalism and attentiveness. They have been responsive to my concerns, have listened carefully, and I have never experienced feeling rushed during consultations. There are occasional instances where appointment schedules run slightly behind schedule, though in my experience this has not exceeded 10-15 minutes. I do not view this as a concern, as I believe it reflects the quality of care being delivered and the commitment to giving patients adequate time and attention. This is an excellent practice that I would gladly recommend to others.
