The receptionist demonstrates a clear lack of professionalism. Whenever I attempt to schedule a medical consultation for a prescription, I am consistently redirected to the pharmacy. Upon visiting the pharmacy, I was informed that it is actually the general practitioner's duty to arrange the appointment, and that the receptionist appears to be severely uninformed about proper medical administrative procedures.

Exceptional care from nurse and doctor at clinic

Recently became a patient at central medical centre and was truly appreciative of nurse Nosheen, who was incredibly professional and highly knowledgeable. She demonstrated genuine compassion and understanding. She made efforts to address concerns and resolve problems, and Dr. Jegasothy is an exceptional physician. He absolutely merits the highest recognition. Heartfelt thanks to central medical centre for employing such outstanding healthcare professionals.

Terrible nhs service leaves patients suffering and ignored

For 3 days, my girlfriend has been suffering terribly with a severe sore throat, high fever, and persistent cough… and she's been waiting ENDLESSLY for someone to even check on her, despite us actively seeking medical HELP! It's absolutely unacceptable and shameful that taxpayers receive such poor service, with a complete lack of professionalism. They suggest a "TELEPHONE check" as if a doctor can provide proper advice over the phone? Personally, they tried prescribing me antibiotics, which I rejected after discovering from a private doctor that I only needed Hydrocortisone. To make matters worse, they've arbitrarily removed me from their "GREAT" services without any notification, which is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable under any circumstances! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! NHS is an extremely TERRIBLE public service… The absolute worst on the entire continent!

I encountered an extremely discourteous receptionist while attempting to follow up on a prescription request for my elderly mother. Instead of providing constructive assistance, the staff member offered unsolicited advice and was completely unhelpful. When I politely requested help with obtaining a repeat prescription, she abruptly terminated the call. The unprofessional conduct reflects poorly on the entire healthcare service, and I find the staff's behavior unacceptable and deeply disrespectful. The receptionist did not even have the decency to identify herself, demonstrating a complete lack of basic telephone etiquette. I would find immense satisfaction in reporting this incident to the General Pharmaceutical Council. This unacceptable interaction occurred on July 1st around 5 PM. I urgently request an investigation into the staff member's conduct and recommend comprehensive training in communication and customer service. Furthermore, I seek guidance on the formal complaint procedure to address this unacceptable treatment.

I reached out urgently regarding my father's post-heart surgery medical needs, seeking an immediate GP consultation. Despite clearly articulating the critical nature of our request, the receptionist displayed total disregard, dismissively instructing me to call back the following day with zero empathy or assistance. When I attempted to emphasize the situation's gravity, she abruptly interrupted me, declared "we can't do anything," and terminated the call. Her demeanor was extraordinarily offensive, her communication unprofessional, and her apparent language limitations further complicated our already challenging interaction. I am absolutely astounded by the front desk staff's profound lack of compassion and competence. A medical practice should prioritize patient care — this is not a random call centre — and patients, particularly those in urgent medical circumstances, deserve fundamental human dignity and respect. I would never suggest this practice to anyone under any circumstances. Their conduct is completely unacceptable. Truly, the receptionist at this medical practice—Karen—is hands-down the most incompetent front desk staff I've ever dealt with. She carries herself with an unwarranted sense of superiority, yet fundamentally fails to perform her basic duties. Her demeanor is pushy and invasive, constantly interrogating patients about appointment specifics despite having zero medical credentials. During a critical health situation, her response was to casually suggest the doctor would return my call, which is completely unacceptable and potentially life-threatening.
