Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff

IF I COULD GIVE 0 I WOULD! The older receptionist displayed a dismissive attitude, arbitrarily deciding that no situation warranted immediate attention and only offering an appointment after a 2-3 week delay. My relatives and I have consistently experienced significant challenges attempting to reach the surgery via telephone, frequently finding ourselves at the front of the queue only to have the call abruptly terminated. Regrettably, the reception staff's performance has deteriorated, seemingly operating solely for their own convenience rather than prioritizing patient care and needs. They are completely uninterested in addressing any complaints regarding their unprofessional conduct, instead offering weak excuses about being overwhelmed. The entire situation is utterly ridiculous.

Unhelpful doctor leads to frustrating medical experience

I attended a consultation with Dr Miao today, and was disappointed that no physical assessment was conducted, even though my issue was of a physical nature. Furthermore, he insisted I would need to seek private treatment for the recommended procedure, contradicting the information I found on the NHS website. The overall experience was extremely unsatisfactory. I will definitely be seeking a different healthcare professional for future appointments. ***update*** I have since transferred my medical care to Morden hall medical centre, where the staff have been exceptional, addressing my concerns promptly and comprehensively!!

I reached out to the medical center to schedule a consultation following my test outcomes, only to be greeted by an automated system that informed me I was 19th in line. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, 16 minutes had passed and I had barely moved, now positioned at 17th in the queue. Such a prolonged wait is utterly unacceptable, especially when the only alternative to this phone system is physically going to the clinic. This ongoing issue has persisted for far too long and demands immediate attention and resolution.

Rude receptionists ruin medical center experience

I visited CMC this morning for a routine blood test. Upon arrival, myself and two others waited outside the surgery until a nurse arrived and knocked on the window, after which someone opened the door. The check-in machine appeared non-functional, so I approached reception, where three women were present, with one significantly younger than the other two. After checking in, I took a seat and was appalled by the offensive way the two older receptionists addressed patients attempting to schedule appointments. One receptionist was not merely brusque but was actually shouting aggressively, while the other was outright discourteous. I was shocked that they were permitted to treat patients so disrespectfully. Moreover, I was deeply concerned that they seemed unaware their behavior might negatively influence the younger receptionist, who might perceive this as acceptable conduct. She was, in fact, far more professional and courteous than her colleagues. When the nurse called me, she inquired if I had seen my name appear on the screen. Upon my negative response, she questioned the receptionist about why I hadn't been prompted for my blood test. The receptionist claimed I was on my phone, which was completely untrue. I challenged her statement, noting she was preoccupied with bullying patients on the telephone. I found it particularly interesting that my not being alerted to my blood test was somehow construed as my fault. In stark contrast, my subsequent visit to the x-ray department at St Helier was entirely different. Every staff member was friendly, pleasant, professional, and reassuring. Perhaps the CMC staff could benefit from shadowing their St Helier colleagues to improve their abysmal patient interactions.

Terrible customer service and unprofessional staff attitude

The reception area lacks proper management, with the practice manager seemingly absent and never observing staff behavior. If one reviews the feedback, it's clear this is a persistent issue that has gone unaddressed by many patients. I was attempting to complete a prescription form and found no pen available, searching extensively without success. After the staff member finished a phone call, I requested a pen. She initially claimed one should be present, but when I explained I had already searched, she admitted they had none. When I asked what I should do, she suddenly produced a pen after two minutes. The staff's poor training and unprofessional demeanor are frustrating. While filling out the prescription, I noticed another staff member arrive, and the same employee proceeded to show off her new tattoo and engage in casual conversation. Meanwhile, the telephone rang with no sense of urgency to answer. I would gladly assist in addressing and eliminating such unacceptable workplace conduct.

Compassionate nurse saves day from rude reception staff

I visited for a blood test, and the nurse Nosheen was exceptional - incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. I truly appreciated her demeanor. However, the reception staff were completely unhelpful and seemed lacking in compassion. They urgently need to improve their customer service. On a positive note, Dr. Jegadorht was also very good.

Terrible medical practice with unhelpful staff

I've been a patient at this practice for several years, and I'm completely fed up with the consistently rude and dismissive receptionists. They constantly claim to be overwhelmed and use COVID as a convenient excuse, showing zero compassion for patients. During in-person interactions, they visibly display contempt by rolling their eyes and sighing dramatically when I ask questions. Their behavior is utterly unprofessional. The phone lines are perpetually jammed, and I frequently spend up to thirty minutes just trying to reach someone. Moreover, they routinely make scheduling errors, booking appointments I never requested, and causing significant delays in my medical care. Whenever I call seeking information, they are entirely unhelpful, quickly deflecting my concerns and telling me to wait or simply brush me off. When I visit in person, I'm met with the same response about being too busy. Their rudeness and incompetence are truly astounding. When I attempted to discuss filing a complaint with the senior receptionist, they conveniently redirected the conversation. Even the doctor, when approached about the complaint process, dismissively suggested I check their website. The entire operation is an absolute mockery of professional healthcare service.

I visit this medical practice frequently. Nosheen Khan is an exceptional and approachable nurse. She has consistently demonstrated kindness and professionalism. Her patient care is exemplary. In stark contrast, Dr. Raja displays an appalling demeanor, consistently treating patients with contempt and disrespect. Her conduct towards me and my family has been utterly unacceptable and deeply distressing.

I am completely stunned and dismayed by the unprofessional conduct of the reception team. They demonstrate zero concern for patient welfare and consistently fail to answer incoming calls, which seems to directly contradict their core responsibilities. In stark contrast, Dr Rizvi and Nurse Nosheen are exceptional professionals who provide compassionate and attentive care to patients, and I have absolutely no criticism of their performance.
