Shocking vaccine fiasco at central surgery clinic

Central surgery is a total embarrassment. They scheduled approximately 30 patients for flu shots on Tuesday, October 3rd at 8am, only to inform us upon arrival that they had no vaccines available! Utter and complete incompetence!

Speedy gp appointments made simple online

It might be a relatively new system, but wow, the online 'Contact the GP' platform is absolutely fantastic!!! Multiple times since its implementation, I've successfully submitted my request (occasionally just before closing) and consistently secured a same-day appointment with my doctor. Without fail!!! The problem was never with our dedicated medical staff - it was the inefficient and antiquated previous method. I'm thrilled they've developed this innovative solution that simultaneously alleviates the telephone congestion. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone with website access utilize this service, and I'm confident you'll experience the remarkable improvement! It represents a truly positive advancement and progressive approach to healthcare access.

Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff

I scheduled a phone consultation, and the physician unexpectedly rang me an hour ahead of the agreed time while I was still working. When I called back before the original appointment slot, they informed me that I had supposedly missed the consultation and would need to rebook, with the earliest available time being more than a month away. This is completely unacceptable, and it seems the doctor was solely interested in ending their day early, showing total disregard for patient needs.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service

If I could assign zero rating, I absolutely would... This medical practice is completely ridiculous. It took me a quarter of a year just to secure an initial consultation. When I recently attempted to request a prescription renewal, I was confronted by a condescending receptionist who flatly refused to help me. Anyone considering using this facility should be warned - I was so frustrated that I immediately left and have since registered with a different healthcare provider.

Frustrating experience with terrible medical service

Called at 8:29 in the morning, positioned 24th in line, finally reached the front desk after 18 minutes only to be informed that all morning slots were fully booked. Advised to attempt scheduling again at 1pm. Completely unacceptable and utterly frustrating. This practice is so dysfunctional that I'm definitively seeking a new medical provider - I've never encountered such disorganized and inefficient healthcare management.

Worst medical practice ever experienced in rugby

When we initially relocated to Rugby decades ago, wall-mounted plaques celebrated the practice's past achievements. What a stark contrast to today. The quality of service, medical tools, staff demeanor, appointment procedures, and overall patient care are utterly deplorable. If this were a commercial enterprise, it would undoubtedly collapse financially within half a year due to complete customer abandonment. Despite claiming to be overwhelmingly busy, they paradoxically continue recruiting new patients through their subpar website. Whenever I'm compelled to interact with them, whether by telephone or in-person, I'm invariably left feeling emotionally drained, melancholic, and profoundly exasperated by the institution's fundamentally inhuman approach.

Terrible service and impossible to book appointment

Unbelievable. Zero possibility of scheduling an appointment - I've been stuck on hold for two hours, trapped in a queue of 22 people, and still haven't reached anyone. This congestion happens constantly throughout the day. With the medical practice about to close in mere minutes, I'm certain I'll be disconnected. My recommendation is straightforward: seek out a different healthcare provider. That's exactly what I intend to do.

Frustrating healthcare with long waits and limited appointments

Central Surgery has been satisfactory throughout my life until now. However, since/after covid, their service has deteriorated significantly, and that's no justification. It seems nearly impossible to secure an appointment or receive quality professional healthcare. I attempted to book appointments through online consultation and by calling around 9:00am, only to be stuck in a phone queue for 1 hour and 32 minutes. Eventually, I was informed that "No appointments are available for this morning, and afternoon bookings can't be made until 1pm." Seriously? I was advised to call back or visit at 1pm, so I went shortly after and fortunately managed to get a same-day appointment. However, I had to wait around for hours from approximately 1:30pm until 4pm, and the professional I saw wasn't even a doctor... I believe they were a paramedic. Despite this, they were genuinely good - caring, kind, and helpful. I would have given a higher rating if not for the initial poor front-line service in booking an appointment. Spending an entire day at the doctors, only to not see an actual doctor, is fundamentally unacceptable.

Impossible to book a doctor's appointment anywhere

I've been desperately attempting to schedule a medical consultation for three consecutive days without success! Every time I call during their peak hours at 8:30 AM and 1 PM, all available slots have already been claimed!!!! It's absolutely outrageous!! I'm seriously contemplating switching healthcare providers!!!!! I wouldn't dare suggest this practice to anyone else!!!!!

Terrible service destroyed my trust in central surgery

The receptionist was the final straw that pushed me to seek care elsewhere! Utterly lacking empathy, displaying an arrogant and disrespectful attitude! It's disappointing because Central Surgery used to be excellent before COVID, but now they've become unprofessional and are rapidly deteriorating. Calling at 08:30 means enduring a grueling hour-long wait, only to be informed there are no appointments. Then they suggest calling back at 13:00, which results in another 1.5 hours on hold, and the only option is a doctor in Ryton! Their solution is to tell me to ring back the next morning if I'm unsatisfied. Absolutely not! I refuse to waste hours of my day repeatedly trying to schedule a simple appointment.

Worst healthcare experience of my miserable life

Complete farce. Endured 4 weeks of futile attempts to secure an appointment, persistently calling daily right when they open, only to be repeatedly informed no slots were available. Upon finally obtaining an appointment, I arrived punctually, then languished for 36 minutes past my scheduled time before being seen, ultimately getting dismissed and told to return the following week.

Horrible healthcare service since covid pandemic hit

The situation has deteriorated dramatically since the pandemic. It was never this problematic before. Reaching someone by phone is incredibly time-consuming; I've endured wait times approaching two hours just attempting to secure an appointment, only to be told no slots are available and advised to call early morning... ironically, I had already called at 8:30 AM initially! I couldn't even schedule a consultation with a midwife! Online requests are frequently disregarded - I've submitted two in the past fortnight regarding the same matter and received absolutely no response. Then this morning, I get a text prompting me to book a health review - which I'd be delighted to do if any appointments were actually accessible!

Terrible product that completely disappointed me

Absolute disaster from start to finish. The product was completely useless and didn't come close to meeting any of its advertised claims. Customer service was equally terrible - unhelpful, unresponsive, and seemed to care zero about resolving my issues. I wasted my hard-earned money on something that belongs in the trash. Would give zero stars if that were an option. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this garbage. Worst purchase I've ever made, and I'm genuinely angry about how much time and money I've lost dealing with this complete failure of a product.
