Horrible service and toxic attitude at this place

Simply browse through the comments, and you'll understand... utterly disrespectful, with potential extremists on staff. The reception personnel are entirely delusional, conceited, and unprofessional—their level of prejudice is so extreme, one could argue they're acting criminally. (Their mistreatment of elderly individuals is particularly appalling) Because of the dreadful women at the front desk (those domineering, condescending individuals welcoming people at the entrance and the two on the first floor)... the entire organization suffers from the toxic reputation created by these "unprofessional aunties"!

Terrible hospital care puts patient at serious risk

Dropped off my brother-in-law at Kingston hospital while he was suffering from severe swelling, and they gave him just a brief ten-minute consultation. The female physician was incredibly disrespectful, blaming him for the short appointment by claiming he was responsible due to his extended wait time. I am planning to escalate this matter to higher administrative levels. The underlying condition of edema could potentially indicate critical heart complications!!

Compassionate care saves the day at claremont medical

For decades, I remained loyal to my longtime physician, but ultimately had to switch primary care providers due to feeling depersonalized and undervalued. Approximately half a year ago, I consulted my previous doctor regarding a medical issue, during which he stood with crossed arms, seemingly disinterested, and promised a specialist referral that never materialized. Consequently, I continue to struggle with the same health concern. In stark contrast, my new GP at Claremont medical centre promptly arranged a specialist consultation, and my treatment commenced within just seven days. At my former practice, Central Surgery, doctors seemed more inclined to prescribe potent painkillers via telephone consultations, and the reception staff consistently displayed discourteous behavior. I am genuinely relieved to have transitioned to a more patient-centered medical practice.

Unreliable medical practice with long wait times

Getting an appointment here is a nightmare, with wait times stretching 4-6 weeks. Luckily, I'm young and healthy. I submitted an online request for a repeat prescription, adhering to their 48-hour rule. Invariably, 48 hours pass without completion, typically accompanied by an accusatory comment implying it's my fault. My demanding work schedule means I'm frequently unable to collect prescriptions for 7-10 days, falling on workdays. This delay is critical when dependent on asthma inhalers, highlighting their lack of reliability. Desperate, I even purchased additional inhalers in Italy to avoid running out. The facility boasts a modern, technologically advanced environment, which I perceive as a superficial facade masking subpar medical service. The staff presents a mixed experience. Some receptionists are delightful, while others are intrusive and presumptuous, acting like unqualified doctors eager to extract your entire medical history. They demand personal details in a public setting, within earshot of other patients. I'm grateful my medical history isn't embarrassing. I'll remain with this practice for another six months until I relocate, hoping to find a more competent medical center. If they were adequately staffed relative to patient volume, this could potentially be a decent surgery.

Throughout my 35-year relationship with Central Surgery, I seldom needed their medical assistance until reaching 70, when my health began to decline. Their overall service has consistently been top-notch, with the sole exception of scheduling appointments with a specific physician. Every staff member appears genuinely invested in patient well-being, and I deeply appreciate the compassion and support they've extended to me during recent years. My sincere appreciation to them.

Having been a long-standing patient of central surgery, I've witnessed their evolution from a modest clinic on Ewell road to their current status. Securing an appointment within your desired timeframe is incredibly challenging, either on the same day or within the same week. It would be beneficial to see an expansion of their medical staff, which could potentially alleviate the pressure on existing doctors and shorten appointment wait times. Aside from these scheduling constraints, it remains an excellent medical practice.
