For over a decade as a patient, I've witnessed a dramatic decline in service quality since their relocation near Sainsbury, with the situation reaching its lowest point during and after the pandemic. While some organizational improvements have occurred, they pale in comparison to the standard of care from 12 years ago. The most frustrating aspects are the minimal effort policies and limited information sharing. Each medical need demands multiple attempts and appointments, each addressing only minute issues, with bookings restricted to a narrow 7:30 am window on their app. Consistently, I encounter different doctors who require me to recount my entire medical history due to inadequate record-keeping. My pre-scheduled appointment was rescheduled three times, and the information and referral outcome were misleading - to the extent that the referred service apologized on the practice's behalf. I remain with them solely because I cannot drive and they are within walking distance, but I feel utterly neglected. Despite managing serious chronic conditions, I frequently avoid seeking care due to sheer exhaustion. I'm uncertain whether these shortcomings stem from NHS organizational issues or financial constraints, but I firmly believe that professionals working with ill, vulnerable, mentally ill, and disabled patients must demonstrate sufficient empathy and compassion to deliver quality care.

Terrible appointment system and no real help

Extremely challenging to receive assistance when required. The scheduling method is completely impractical. The facility fails to deliver the expected medical services, and patients are unable to transfer to a nearby healthcare center. The website instructs you to contact the center, but when you call, you're redirected back to the website. It's a total waste of financial resources. This center should be permanently shut down.

Nightmare fit to fly form disaster

Steer clear of this medical practice at all costs !!! Without a doubt, this is the most disorganized and unprofessional surgical center I've ever encountered……for four months, my son has been attempting to obtain a simple fit-to-fly certificate. Twice, they've misplaced the form. On three separate instances, my son arrived at the pre-arranged date and time, only to be disappointed and forced to reschedule. We've already paid in full for this brief 10-minute document, yet the practice's sheer incompetence has left him still waiting, forcing us to incur additional expenses by rescheduling his flying course.

I was referred to Pure Physiotherapy's telephone consultation by my doctor. Throughout three separate calls, their sole focus seemed to be rating my discomfort on a numerical scale. I cannot understand how a remote practitioner could possibly identify hip arthritis or provide meaningful pain management strategies. This service was completely ineffective and a total waste of my time.

I submitted a form that requires payment, a straightforward process of checking a box and providing bank information, with the promise of being contacted for pickup. Over a month has passed... When I inquired about the status two weeks ago, their response was "we've lost your form". I've been forced to submit a second form, which I'm certain will meet the same fate, thanks to this utterly ineffective medical practice. Apart from the helpful phone representative who genuinely tried to assist, this GP practice desperately needs a comprehensive review for their shocking lack of competence. My recommendation to anyone considering this GP: save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

When someone finally picked up, they informed me that phone bookings are impossible. Instead, you must log into their online portal precisely at 7:30am and frantically attempt to secure a slot before they vanish. I simply wanted to schedule a routine follow-up for a few weeks from now, but they absolutely refused to help. They only allow a tiny number of appointment requests daily, and if you're not lightning-fast when the system opens, everything disappears. Chest pain ignored at local surgery

Appalling service. I sought medical attention due to severe chest pain, palpitations, and feeling extremely unwell, only to be coldly told by the receptionist to go to Widnes or Runcorn. When I requested to speak with a manager, she claimed to be in a meeting and dismissively suggested I go elsewhere, despite my heart concerns. Fortunately, A & E was exceptional. They immediately recognized the seriousness of my condition, stating the surgery should have dispatched an ambulance. I received prompt care, including an ECG, blood tests, and was put on a drip, followed by a consultation with a cardiologist. I'm grateful to be home today, but I'm definitely searching for a new medical practice.

We are incredibly grateful to Carl Armstrong for his exceptional care, from examining our child to following up with a phone call and urgently requesting a same-day re-examination to confirm his well-being. He went above and beyond by finding a medication that our child could tolerate, unlike the previous prescription which caused vomiting due to its unpleasant taste. Fit note nightmare at this terrible surgery

Absolute rubbish, steer clear of this medical practice and avoid requesting any documentation. I was initially informed it might take up to 5 days, and when I reached out on the 6th day inquiring about my note, they suddenly claimed it could exceed 5 days. Complete falsehoods! Avoid at all costs. It's no surprise they have such terrible feedback - this place desperately needs a total overhaul and needs to get rid of these dishonest staff members.

Phone calls go perpetually unanswered, and scheduling an appointment is impossible without using their online platform. As an educator, I attempted to book a slot and received a confirmation email, but being unable to check personal communications during work hours meant missing the appointment entirely. The front desk personnel display a consistently poor demeanor. Their pharmaceutical service is utterly ridiculous - you can absolutely count on them either not having your full prescription or only stocking partial amounts, forcing multiple return trips to collect the complete medication order.

I received exceptional care at this medical practice today. Lauren, the receptionist at the 11 AM shift, was welcoming, and Carl, who had previously arranged my medication over the phone, asked me to come in and listen to my chest. I was feeling increasingly unwell and had exhausted various over-the-counter remedies without success. It became clear that I required a proper prescription to address my chest infection. Carl was incredibly attentive and took his time, making me feel completely at ease during the consultation.
