Terrible healthcare system fails patients miserably

What was once a reliable medical facility has now deteriorated. Their new appointment scheduling system is completely dysfunctional, making it nearly impossible to see a doctor, even in critical situations. They claim to evaluate your medical issue and then send a booking invitation, but when you attempt to schedule, there are consistently zero available slots. This approach is incredibly inconsiderate to patients. While I'm tempted to seek out a private practice, I'm conflicted about the insurance deductions I've been paying, questioning their actual value.

Just the day before, I was experiencing significant health discomfort, so I utilized the online triage system. Remarkably, within mere moments, I received a phone call scheduling an immediate morning consultation. I'm compelled to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service. The compassionate physician I consulted (whose name escapes me) recommended I visit Broomfield Hospital. While current public discourse often highlights NHS shortcomings, my personal experience was nothing short of outstanding. Chelmer Medical Partnership deserves commendation for their prompt response and intervention, which undoubtedly prevented my medical issue from potentially escalating.

Terrible service at parkside medical practice

These two medical facilities, along with Tennyson Road surgery, are commendable Parkside needs to recognize how they've failed these locations The front desk staff display disrespectful behavior, consistently placing fault on patients for prescription errors There's one particularly discourteous nurse whose conduct is so inappropriate that she's perilously close to facing formal disciplinary action through patient liaison services

Today, I secured an urgent consultation regarding a sensitive matter. Fortunately, I was assigned Dr Onan, who listened intently to my concerns and maintained exceptional professionalism, even appreciating my candid approach and sense of humor. Initially anxious about scheduling the appointment, I now feel optimistic about a constructive and forward-looking treatment strategy. My encounter with Dr Onan has been reassuring. Her expertise and compassionate demeanor have instilled confidence that I'm moving in the right direction.

Terrible service and impossible to get an appointment

Securing a medical consultation has become incredibly challenging since Chelmer medical partnership took over. Patients are frequently redirected to alternative clinics away from their registered location, which creates significant inconvenience. This is especially problematic for individuals dependent on public transportation. The automated phone system consistently instructs callers to book appointments online during peak times, disregarding that not all patients have internet access. This approach is extremely aggravating and creates unnecessary barriers to receiving basic healthcare services.

Frustrating phone system ruins patient experience

I've been a patient at this medical practice, previously known as Sunrise Avenue, for more than two decades without any issues. Recently, however, reaching them has become incredibly challenging. On Tuesday, I was forced to visit the emergency room because I couldn't contact the surgery, which was fortunate given I was dealing with a kidney stone and infection. Just now, I spent 20 minutes at the front of the call queue attempting to schedule my Covid booster and flu vaccination. I've tried multiple times and each attempt resulted in being told all lines are unavailable. I'll attempt again tomorrow, but I implore you to address these persistent telephone communication problems.

Extremely frustrating experience! Substantial challenges arise when attempting to schedule even the most basic appointment! Frequently encountering automated messages stating 'all lines currently unavailable' Personnel consistently demonstrate a lack of genuine care. Their approach seems focused solely on quickly processing and transferring issues between departments, a problem prevalent among nursing and medical staff. While a handful of professionals deserve genuine appreciation, the overall service is unacceptable. I will be seeking alternative medical care. Cannot recommend this facility.

Frustrating medical partnership with poor phone access

I've enjoyed my time with Humber Road Surgery ever since being automatically transferred after Sunrise Avenue's closure. However, the recent merger into Chelmer Medical Partnership has drastically changed things for the worse. Logistically, it's become a nightmare. While the staff remain excellent, securing an appointment has become nearly impossible. There's no option to book ahead, and getting through on the day is equally challenging. They lack any proper queuing or hold system, instead offering only a frustrating "lines are busy, please try later" message that persists for hours each day. What a disappointing development!
