The facility was quite busy with a wait of just over 4 hours, though I was seen, received imaging, and obtained treatment during that time for my foot injury. The refreshment options are limited to tea, coffee, and light snacks for the duration of the wait, so I'd recommend visiting the nearby shopping centre to purchase food while waiting. Upon arrival, you're informed of the approximate wait duration. After your initial assessment, you're able to step outside to wait in a quieter environment before being called back, as the waiting room can become crowded. A television showing children's programming on repeat is available to help keep younger patients entertained, and they are prioritised and typically seen and treated within an hour. Despite the high volume of people waiting, the atmosphere remained notably calm compared to typical hospital emergency department waiting areas. The staff demonstrated courtesy and professionalism throughout. A volunteer maintained the waiting area by regularly cleaning surfaces and wiping down chairs after each use to prevent the spread of germs and ensure hygiene for subsequent visitors. I was very satisfied with the overall experience and found it to be a preferable option for managing minor injuries compared to other local hospital facilities.

I attended this centre for treatment and despite experiencing a lengthy wait to receive antibiotics for my infection, I felt it was worthwhile as my usual practice had shown little concern for my situation. I'm very pleased with the care I received and found the team to be genuinely friendly. I've consistently been attended to within a reasonable timeframe. In my view, those with genuine medical concerns are willing to wait, and if someone is able to leave frustrated, it suggests their need wasn't urgent. The only suggestion I'd make is relocating the reception desk, as discussing health matters in front of other patients can feel somewhat uncomfortable. Apart from that, everything deserves top marks. I'm grateful for all the hard work the practice puts in.

Quick appointment despite needing an X-ray

Arrived this morning around mid-morning, I was seen by a pleasant member of staff around a quarter past ten, then waited for an imaging scan for another fifteen to twenty minutes. Was called through around eleven to receive my diagnosis, had a further examination of the affected area and was provided with mobility aids and supportive equipment along with helpful guidance from two friendly staff members. The entire appointment was completed in under two hours, which I found impressive given my initial apprehension about attending. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

Quick and efficient walk-in centre visit

Attended the walk-in centre with my wife to have her ankle assessed, and I was expecting the worst. I came prepared for a substantial wait with reading material in hand. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything ran. The atmosphere reflected genuine efficiency, and it was clear that each team member understood their responsibilities exceptionally well, working together in a coordinated manner. Upon arrival, we completed registration and my wife was promptly seen by a clinician for initial assessment, who arranged for imaging to be carried out at the same location. Approximately twenty minutes later, my wife returned and was informed she would need to wait for her results to be reviewed. She was called back roughly fifteen minutes after that and received guidance on the care she should follow at home. Overall, we spent just over an hour at the centre from start to finish, which was excellent. Beyond the quality of the staff, the cleanliness throughout the facility was striking, with the environment feeling fresh and well-maintained. While I hope we won't need to return, it's reassuring to know that such high standards of care are readily accessible locally. I'm very grateful to everyone involved.

When we attempted to purchase these tablets, we discovered they require a formal diagnosis from a clinician before they can be dispensed. My daughter had not been seen by a doctor regarding her symptoms, as the receptionist did not arrange an appointment for her. I am concerned about receiving advice to obtain medication without appropriate medical assessment. My husband experienced a lengthy wait for his appointment, during which he noticed that several patients who arrived after him were called in ahead of him. After waiting considerably, he approached the reception desk to inquire about his status. The staff indicated he was next to be seen and expressed surprise that he hadn't been called yet. However, additional patients were seen before him. When he was eventually called in, he mentioned the duration of his wait to the clinician. The clinician explained they were the only medical professional available at that time, though my husband had observed multiple medical staff members present in the clinic during his wait.

Excellent care was provided to my child following a referral to the hospital, which led to an inpatient stay. The clinical team demonstrated exceptional compassion and thoughtfulness throughout. However, the experience was somewhat diminished by the administrative staff at the front desk, who seemed disengaged with their role. While I recognise this can be a challenging position, these staff members are often the initial interaction patients have, and the individual we dealt with came across as unwelcoming and discourteous.

After waiting for some time, I realised I didn't require urgent care and simply wanted to discuss something with my healthcare provider, so I asked if they could be informed of my presence. The receptionist responded curtly with a refusal, insisting I wait, and their manner felt dismissive and impersonal when dealing with multiple enquiries. It's worth noting that while this may be routine for reception staff, each patient interaction is their first point of contact and deserves appropriate consideration. The current setup is unsatisfactory and would benefit from either relocating the reception area or implementing soundproofing and privacy screening. On a positive note, the actual clinical care provided during previous visits has been satisfactory once appointments are reached.

Long wait left me missing work shift

Spent five hours waiting for an appointment. During that time, I inquired twice about how much longer the wait might be since I needed to get to work. The response was that I was near the top of the list. The length of the wait felt unreasonable. I eventually left without being seen. As a result, I missed my work shift and lost income as a consequence. I found the experience unacceptable and do not plan to return. Would not recommend.
